The only drama I can think of now is How Dare You where CP rule but there are a bunch of dramas where they leave everything behind. And what is more annoying is that they even change the novel ending if the novel ended with them being emperor and empress.

I just want to know one thing. From the synopsis, the ML is the emperor, so will he remain the emperor and the FL will become the empress or they will leave everything behind and live in the mountains?
What happened in the novel? I am seriously done with the trope of giving up everything for countryside life.

everytime she got the screen she was somehow worse than the last time. So yeah I believed it as well that she would have a final confrontation with xihe and glad I wasn’t disappointed 👍

I know the novel ending and based on opening credits and reutars seems like this will have similar ending. However, I hope they change it a bit which is quite unlikely, I want Xiao Huayong to be Emperor.
I know cdramas dislike it, they even change the novel ending to ensure they don’t become emperor and in this novel he doesn’t become one but I really wanna see him become the emperor like I really really do.
He will be a good emperor and that will be a slap on all their faces also he deserves it after spending his life in pain.
