The story is a simple romcom. Because of the cast & leading chemistry, it's popular.

Sung Duk Mi is workaholic, sweet, straightforward. She has another side, she is a super fangirl of a pop star, but that doesn't mean she is immature or an obsessive kind of fan. She is a mature woman who supports & loves her idol.

Ryan Gold is a painter who is unable to paint because of his past. He is hot-tempered, arrogant, but if he is wrong he isn’t ashamed to apologize.

I want friends like Seong Ju.

Sung Duk Mi mother is obsessed with knitting & father collecting rocks.

Love Sung Duk Mi & Nam Eun Gir relationship. Their Tom & Jerry fight.

It’s sweet how Ryan Gold helped Sung Duk Mi with her fangirling while she had no knowledge of it.

Everyone's reaction when Sung Duk Mi said that Ryan Gold was a selfish jerk.

I was disappointed when Choi Da In didn't get to know till the end that Sung Duk Mi is his biggest fan.

Celebrities are also human beings, they also have a right to be in a relationship. In Hollywood, it’s okay to date, but I think in K & C industry, fans treat them as gods, which is too much. They also have a right to be in a relationship & be with someone who can make them happy & make them comfortable.

Don't know why people hate this drama so much but I enjoyed it a lot.

I like political-based dramas with twists & turns. I know many people may not like this kind of plot because they find it boring, but I enjoy it a lot.

Kim Je Ha is a mercenary soldier on the run. He has a lot of pride, doesn't care about rules & regulations. I love his attitude. His crying scene broke my heart. Ji Chang Wook wearing a tank top & showing his muscles uffff. Did he get injured during filming? Because his face has a scar which stayed for a few episodes.

Go An Na lost her mother at a very young age, which leads to her PTSD. Her father is a scumbag. She is afraid of her surroundings, looking for a way to escape. I can understand why she is so scared, innocent, foolish & trusts someone easily because of the way she grew up.

Choi Yoo Jin is someone who presents herself to the public as innocent & a saint, but she is the one in control, manipulating the scene, making decisions, draining behind everything. I loved Song Yoon Ah acting. She played the character so well.

Loved Kim Je Ha & Choi Yoo Jin first meet, the way he comes in front of her, her getting scared was about to be scored him but ended up praising Kim Je Ha for being handsome.

Love Master Song. His reaction after seeing Kim Je Ha's fighting skills & the defense he taught Go An Na were funny.

Uff the shower scene, I just loved it. It's a pity it were blurred 🙈🙈

Love Kim Je Ha & Go An Na camera interaction. The happy & innocent dance she watched seeing the ramen & Kim Je Ha mesmerizingly watching her. His frustration with her for giving up. Love their catch me if can moment.

Kim Je Ha's help & care for Choi Yoo Jin is something nobody else has done.

Loved bodyguard sheet mask scene & the way they follow someone 🤣😂

The FL Go An Na wasn't shown much in the beginning episodes & most importantly, the story was centered around Choi Yoo Jin & Kim Je Ha. Most because people were drawn to them & also for their chemistry. If the story were centered around Go An Na & Kim Je Ha then maybe people would like it. Or if Go An Na was made a strong, brave, intelligent woman who wants to take revenge no matter what, then people may also like it.

But I liked the story because of the twists & turns.

A proper Thriller, Mystery, Supernatural Drama

Each episode has twists & turns. Each episode you'll think that he is the main villain. Many are disappointed to know the main villain in the end. But that's the thing I liked about it. Till the end, the audience were guessing who was the main culprit. In maximum dramas you can guess who the main villain is even before the revelation. But here you'll keep on guessing. In every episode I keep on guessing the culprit, which made me want to watch more. It kept me engaged. Thriller, Mystery & Supernatural all of it are executed well.

First drama where ML reveals that he has supernatural powers.

I like the fact that in the drama they keep on mentioning that Dong Baek memory scanning isn't enough as evidence. Because in reality it is impossible & unrealistic.

Dong Baek is reckless but smart. There is a reason why he behaves that way. Han Sun Mi is an allrounder. She is best at her work.

I love Dong Baek's relationship with Oh Se Hoon & Goo Kyung Tan.

I was so excited to watch this drama, worth my time

Loved it, Loved it & Loved it. From story to acting, everything is perfect.

The story is well written. It is about power-play & revenge. I like the leads being grayish character.

Jiang Xue Ning is short-tempered, stubborn, ignorant, smart, cunning, but despite all of that, she is afraid of Xie Wei.

Xie Wei is cold-hearted, cruel, smart, cunning, calculative but scared of cats.

I loved Jiang Xue Ning & Xie Wei interaction. He is always there helping & protecting her, sacrificing for her. It was funny to see Xie Wei saving the qin but not Jiang Xue Ning. Even when Jiang Xue Ning isn't in a good mood or upset to cheer her up, he takes her to his office to practice qin.

As always, Bai Lu did her best. I liked Zhang Ling He acting as well. Also, Zhou Jun Wei & Liu Xie Ning did a good job.

I like Yan Lin but also hate him for what he did to Jiang Xue Ning in the past in his anger. He is immature but gradually understands everything.

I liked Shen Zhi Yi, she is cute & immature. Always there to protect & help Jiang Xue Ning.

Zhang Zhe is a righteous person with strong principles.

Lu Xian is a greedy businessman who always thinks about profit. But he is always there to help Xie Wei & make fun of him. A good friend of his.

You Fang Yin is a trusting and loyal friend of Jiang Xue Ning. She is good at doing business. The ending scene broke my heart. The way Jiang Xue Ning protected her & did everything to keep her save.

It was cute & sweet to see how the princess protected Jiang Xue Ning & did everything to make Jiang Xue Ning her study partner, but poor Jiang Xue Ning didn't want to go to the palace. Their friendship, the thing Jiang Xue Ning did for her so that she doesn't have to go.

Jiang Xue Hui is kind-hearted, considerate. Even after knowing that she is a concubine daughter, she didn't hold it against or make trouble for Jiang Xue Ning as we see in other dramas.

The conversation between Xie Wei & Yan Mu was so heart touching, I feel Yan Mu may have guessed it at that moment.

Jiang Xue Ning mother is so annoying. She doesn't let Jiang Xue Ning explain or talk. Always blaming everything on her not knowing the truth.

I loved Lu Xian & Jiu Shu bickering.

The way Jiang Xue Ning tried so hard to fail the exam so that she didn't have to enter into the palace.

It was funny how Zhou Bao Ying took away walnut cake from Jiang Xue Ning & the same thing Xie Wei did to her.

Everyone's reaction to You Fang Yin & Lu Xian getting married.

It's The Starry Cast reunion. The famous TTEOM stairs.

I liked the kisses given that the director is famous, using lights, birds & flowers in kissing scenes.

I loved OST.

Never drop a series/movie just by reading some reviews.

Sometimes reviews are misleading and not accurate. I read some reviews saying that it was not good and all, so I dropped out after the 1st episode. But I started watching again because of Leo Wu & Zhao Lu Si and believe me, I didn't regret it. I enjoyed watching it.

It is a good story with mystery, drama, romance & also comedy.

I agree the series is slow in 1st few episodes but it gets better after episode 6. It took a while for leads to meet.

Ling Bu Yi is a cold-hearted character with a grayish character he has a reason to be. Cheng Shao Shang is a free-spirited personality, trouble maker, brave & most importantly, extremely smart. Loved the fighting scene of Ling Bu Yi. His 2 assistants, Liang Qiu Qi & Liang Qiu Fei are hilarious especially Liang Qiu Fei, he is a tubelight late to understanding everything. His expression when he sees his master falling in love with Cheng Shao Shang. The scene between Luo Yao & Cheng Shao Shang 's father about their marriage was funny ?? Also, the scenes between Qi Qi & Cheng Song whenever anyone talked about Qi Qi husband and Cheng Song wishes to be noticed but get ignored ?? Their proposal scene was sweet.

Love Emperor Wen, he is not like other Emperors in other series. His love Ling Bu Yi is admirable. He cares for Ling Bu Yi more than his children. And surprisingly, princes aren't jealous nor angry about it. It was funny to see him kicking Ling Bu Yi & him getting up again & again. He isa great shipper of Ling Bu Yi & Cheng Shao Shang.

The Empress & Consort relationship is beautiful. They're like a sister to each other, always supportive. Not like other series where one of them always becomes a villain. I loved Empress love for Cheng Shao Shang . He is the mother Cheng Shao Shang never had. She has all her love & wisdom for Cheng Shao Shang . Love the scene where Cheng Shao Shang falls asleep in the Empress's lap. Their relationship is pure. Teach her how to love and care for others. It's sad to see the death. Consort is the total opposite of the Empress. She is sassy, doesn't hold back, straightforward. Keep the Emperor on his toes.

Beautiful scenes between Ling Bu Yi & Cheng Shao Shang. Cheng Shao Shang hugging Ling Bu Yi after getting bullied. Learning self-defense scenes is my favorite. Cheng Shao Shang carried for Ling Bu Yi after getting injured. The way she ran & confessed her love to him while him being punished. The way Cheng Shao Shang was offended when Cui You said it's chicken wings.

Ling Bu Yi loves to eat while torturing someone. The way they were all enjoying a tea party & punishing the bully's father. Also having a feast after torturing General Peng. The way he was concerned about Liang Qiu Qi & Liang Qiu Fei , checking them if they got hurt.

Cheng Shao Shang's mother was so cold towards her at first. She should have been understanding, caring & loving after seeing her 15 years later. She would have educated Cheng Shao Shang in many other ways but used violence, which made their relationship bad. I hated the way she always compared between Yang Yang & Cheng Shao Shang . Always favoring & loving Yang Yang & forgetting about Cheng Shao Shang. I know Yang Yang parents aren't there for her, but Cheng Shao Shang never got any motherly love. Instead of showing motherly love equally, she totally ignored Cheng Shao Shang which was heart breaking. Like Yang Yang, she wasn't jealous or angry. They threw her mother out of the house. Usually the cousin always turns villain. Love Cheng Shao Shang third uncle & aunt. Their love her a lot & wished that she was their daughter.

The male lead scenes were every little in part 1 but in part 2 he has more scenes.

If you are thinking of watching this series on YouTube, then don't. There was no song in it & many scenes were muted, which was irritating. It's better to watch it on available apps.

I totally loved this series.

All Time Favorite

First of all Luo Yun Xi & Bai Lu chemistry is spot on. I started to watch the series 1st for Luo then and also after reading many many reviews and comments about their chemistry. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

It a perfect story of rom-com with office drama. Yuan Shuai is my favorite in the series. He a helpful, caring, loving, cute friend & boyfriend. The way he protected Jiang Jun in past & present was sweet. I must say I laughed a lot. Scenes between Yuan Shuai & Xu Li is quite funny. And the scene between Yuan Shuai, Jiang Jun & Li Xiao Chuan is hilarious. There are many laughable moments as well as adorable moments.

Didn't liked Du Lei at all.

The entire OST of the series is awesome.

This drama made me confused, cry, frustrated & angry. I felt every emotion watching this drama.

Because it has the same writer & director as "Something in the Rain", some of the cast are similar as well as some of the locations. Even some vibes are quite similar.

Jung Hae In looks more mature in this drama than Something in the Rain. I liked his hairstyle here. He looks cute. His acting was also great. He really brought Yoo Ji Ho character to life. He emoted all those emotions that a father can be feeling in those situations.

I'm confused about how to describe the lead’s relationship. I mean, if feelings can change at some point, then how come couples who have been married for 60/70 years are still happy & in love. How is that possible? But it’s impossible in today’s time. I think our generation is the problem.

Lee Jeong-in didn’t have feelings for Kwon Ki Seok in the very beginning. Their relationship had a crack. She also makes up her mind to breakup with him in ep 1/2. But it was also after meeting Yoo Ji Ho she was fully determined to break up with Kwon Ki Seok. She was clear that she wanted to end their relationship, but it was Kwon Ki Seok who didn’t accept it. It hurt his so-called male ego / pride. So, I really can’t say it is cheating or not. Even if it's called cheating, I'm happy she did it. Because Kwon Ki Seok deserves it. UFFF I hate this piece of shit.

Why are both Yooo Ju & Lee Jeong-in so attached to each other so quickly? I mean they were attracted right after meeting each other. Their interaction was for a few minutes only. Sometimes it does happen in real life. So I get it.

In real life, people won’t get away if they aren’t able to pay. They will be treated as a fraud. (Talking about leads first meeting)

Loved how attentive Lee Jeong-in was. She arranged dinosaur books for Yoo Eun Woo because she saw stickers of them on Yoo Ji Ho's car.

Lee Jung In told Yoo Ji Ho to stay away from her, but she came running to find him & it was annoying to see that.

I find Yoo Ji Ho so cute, his reaction was so cute after Lee Jung In said that she loved him.

Really hated Lee Jeong-in father. He is the same as "Something in the Rain" drama's FL mother. Even worse. At least in "Something in the Rain", FL's mother loved her, cared for her. But here Lee Jeong-in father, knowing how much Lee Seo-in suffered, still wanted her to continue that horrible relationship.

I didn’t like when Yoo Ji Ho didn’t correct Song Yeong-joo when she said Yoo Eun Woo was his nephew. There is nothing to be ashamed of. Why hide him?

I liked that it has a proper ending, unlike Something in the Rain.

Full on Revenge & Action

The plot is simple. Yoon Ji Woo wants revenge. She will do anything to kill the person who destroyed her life. She was determined in the goal till the end. She is strong, brave, & good with fighting.

But the story was predictable from the beginning; I know who is the real villain. It could've been good if Jeon Pil Do was more into the story. One good thing about the story is there is no side story going on; it focuses mainly on the female lead.

I loved Han So Hee acting as vengeance women. She did great in the action sequences.

It would've been better if they explained what happened to Yoon Ji Woo. They never clearly shown her ending properly.

The drama features intense and well-choreographed action scenes. Loved the action scenes.

Didn't liked it much

The concept is chasing ones dreams. But characters were acting all immature & naive.

Scenes I liked:

I laughed when Choi Ae Ra beats her ex boyfriend for cheating

It's cute when Ko Dong Man switches seat with Choi Ae Ra because some boys were looking at her with bad intentions.

Laughed so much at the scene were Choi Ae Ra told Ko Dong Man about her cheating bf.

Ko Dong Man reaction to Choi Ae Ra hair flip with her best friend

Laughed so much when Ko Dong Man & Choi Ae Ra mimic each other & the coach saying I’m holding a knife.

My first full length K-Drama that I completed

Started watching it for Ji Chang Wook. I became a fan of his before watching any of his dramas. I used to see his clips on Instagram, those clips made me his fans.

Noh Ji Wook is a prosecutor who is ruthless and hates criminals. The way he reacts whenever he is annoyed or agitated is my favorite thing. Acting wise, Ji Chang Wook did a great job.

Eun Bong Hee is a confident, independent, strong-minded girl. She is not foolish or stupid, I agree that she is childish & easily trusts people, but the maximum of K & C drama FL is like that childish & foolish. But here FL is smart & understands everything quickly, whether it's about the case of mother & son or about their parents, she guessed everything right. Eun Bong Hee hair when she works overtime is so funny. Nam Ji Hyun acting is also good.

Noh Ji Wook & Eun Bong Hee first met & she identified him as a pervert. And then he supported her in front of her ex.

Noh Ji Wook reaction after knowing that Eun Bong Hee was arrested for murder & the way he went to beat her up in the police station was so funny. His reaction when he called Ji Eun Hyuk for a favor & saying bugs crawling around his body was also funny.

The way Noh Ji Wook sacrificed his career for Eun Bong Hee & also because he knew that she was wrongfully accused.

Both Noh Ji Wook & Eun Bong Hee think whether they sleep together & them not telling each other the truth.

Noh Ji Wook & Ji Eun Hyuk fighting scenes with the high school students were funny.

I appreciated it when Ji Eun Hyuk said that he had no place to give any excuses for what he did. Love his fake laugh.

Noh Ji Wook spraying water on Eun Bong Hee & Ji Eun Hyuk because he was jealous to see them together. Ji Eun Hyuk intentionally makes Noh Ji Wook jealous by being close to Eun Bong Hee.

All of them teaming up & roasting Byun Young Hee

Loved it when Noh Ji Wook came running & took Na Ji Hae hands from Eun Bong Hee hair but let her pull Na Ji Hae hair.

Loved the leads mother rivalry.

The memory loss part was useless. It could've been better if there was no memory loss part. Also, leads parents' past are not important if the story starts with the lead parents' past & them looking for the truth that could've been great, but it was nothing like that. These two plots were unnecessary. They should've gave more story to second leads.

Otherwise I loved the drama. The villain twists, his face-off with Noh Ji Wook was great. I also loved that they took a whole episode to give a ending & didn't rush it.

Only for Zhao Lu Si

I have watched the last 10 episodes of Ancient Love Poetry, so I know about the story from those few episodes & also read spoilers. After watching it, I hated that in The Last Immortal they changed some characters' names. I mean, in many dramas, 2 or more actors play the same character. What's the point of changing their names. Moreover, it's from the same production house why they did it.

Zhao Lu Si didn't disappoint me at all. I liked her portrayal of A Yin & Feng Yin. A Yin a low water beast immortal & Feng Yin a phoenix queen.

Wang An Yu did his part well, whether playing a naughty, lazy person who loves to drink Gu Jin or Yuan Qi a true god who has the responsibility of three realms.

Loved the scene of the water beast & Gu Jin's relation is so cute & the way the water beast makes noises is so cute.

Liked A Yin & Gu Jin practice session.

It's cute to see A Ýin getting jealous every time Gu Jin mentions Hua Shu.

Loved Xiu Yan & Ao Ge love for each other & the willingness to sacrifice for each other.

Loved it when Feng Yin & Gu Jin were being lovey-dovey in front of a heartbroken A Jiu.

I cried when Daze Mountain sacrificed themselves.

I hated Hua Shu, she was a selfish and jealous kind of person, but I hated Hong Chou more because she was always interfering in Yuan Qi's life. She thought of herself as his mother just because she brought him up.

I hated that they didn't mentioned about Tian Qi who brought Yuan Qi up. He did so much for Yuan Qi & yet they didn't mentioned about him.

I don't know why people hate ML so much, he clearly did so much for FL, so sacrifices he did. I get it he didn't communicate with her properly, but he loved her enough to sacrifice everything.

In Xianxia reincarnation, misunderstanding & sacrifices are bound to happen. I want a Xianxia drama with zero misunderstandings. Only The Starry Love has zero misunderstanding.

Only For Bai Lu

The story is nothing new same cold CEO & bubbly FL. The drama became popular because of Leads. I wouldn't have watched it if it wasn't for Bai Lu. I honestly skipped a lot of scenes.

Zheng Shu Yi is a beautiful financial journalist. She is talented, smart & confident. Liked how she used to flirt with Shi Yan

Shi Yan is the CEO of Yunchuang Capital. He left his family business & started his own business. He is a cold, reserved & private person. He values talent over private relationships. He being jealous every now & then was unnecessary.

Bai Lu as always did her best. In the trailer I find Dylan Wang acting bland, but after watching the drama, he did well.

I liked Qin Shi Yue. & also Tang Yi I also need a supporting boss like her.

I liked the way Zheng Shu Yi said to Shi Yun that she will pursue him. It was cute.

Business aspect of the drama was unimportant, not like Rising With the Wind. I mean why would an investment company give so much importance to a bankrupt company which isn't doing well even if they have potential.

Ost was good.

This series would've been better if they didn't have the same kind of stories about ex, twin siblings, misunderstandings & all. Why do in every modern C-Drama they have to add misunderstanding & ex, it's damn annoying.

I liked all the actors' acting, not mind-blowing or over-top kind but decent enough to watch.

Su Ying is a kind-hearted designer who always thinks about others' feelings about hers & is also a workaholic. This is my first time seeing Elaine Zhong. She did good.

Qin Yun Sheng is a cardiology doctor but, because of his past, he switches to the emergency department. I watched Leon Zhang performance before in Ancient Love Poetry, although I have watched only the last 10 episodes of Ancient Love Poetry. He also gave a good performance. I liked his shy smile.

I hated Yang Zheng Wen throughout the series. I liked the actor Zhang Tao in Nothing but You so much, but here I hated him.

Tian Mei is an annoying character. She is selfish, naive and only thinks about her own benefit. Tian Yi Tong character was also annoying in Lie to Love.

Su Ying relationship with Xu Ming Shi, Cao Xiao Ye, Cai Chen was something I enjoyed watching and her friendship with Du Hui Xuan.

Du Hui Xuan & Qin Yun Sheng have a really understanding relationship. They trust each other. But in the end, the writer ruined it with that stupid misunderstanding.

There was something missing, maybe more scenes between the main couple would have been better.

Didn't like the drama that much

It's a revenge story. I had no problem with the show having two plots. 1st half revenge plot & 2nd half war. I didn't like how the truth was revealed, it felt incomplete & not properly executed.

Love Ren Anle character so much. She is flirting, charming, cheerful, straightforward. Han Ye is totally opposite cold, calm. Princess An Ning is another character I love.

I don't know why, but I didn't like Gong Jun acting in here. I know he is a well-known actor but his acting here was blank. I didn't feel connected. I watched his show Begin Again, where his acting was average. Dilraba Dilmurat did a good job of playing Anle. Liu Yu Ning acting was also good, but I loved his songs the most.

First Time in Xianxia drama NO Misunderstanding Between Leads.

After one year, I watched a Xianxia drama, the last one was from the same universe, The Last Immortal. At first, I was hesitant to watch it because it has a 40-episode side effect of watching K-Drama, which usually has 16 episodes. But in the end, I watched it. Honestly speaking, I didn't regret watching it. It was good. The CGI of the drama is good. For me, having decent CGI for a Xianxia drama is important. Because that's the first thing I noticed.

The  Best Thing about it was that NO Misunderstanding Between Leads, which is very rare in Xianxia dramas or C-dramas. C-Drama is known for creating unnecessary misunderstandings between leads. The 1st drama I watched which had zero misunderstanding between the leads was The Starry Love. Both the dramas have the same director for which some settings or places are similar.

One thing I have noticed is for both the spin-off dramas that cast the top 2 popular actresses as leads. Which helps both the dramas to be in hype.

Love the background song sung by Sa Ding Ding.

I've no complaints about Bai Lu performance. She always slay in her characters. I love that Bai Shuo isn't a timid nor a crybaby female lead. She is smart, uses her brain, calculative, mature. In most of the C-Drama, FL is shown as a timid, foolish, immature character for which lot of misunderstandings happen. As Bai Shuo is a smart & mature person who thinks about every move that Fan Yue takes for which there was no misunderstanding between them.

I never noticed that Ao Rui Peng is so tall. This is my 3rd time watching him after Wrong Carriage, Right Groom & The Blood of Youth. There I never noticed his height. Here his height is very noticeable. He played Fan Yue very well. Also, his & Bai Lu chemistry is also good.

One great thing is that Chong Zhao didn’t lie to Bai Shuo that the poison was spread by Fan Yue. Instead, he chose to tell the truth. Usually, in most dramas, this is how 2ML creates misunderstanding.

Chang Hua Sen is again playing a positive & negative character.  I liked his portrayal of both Chong Zhao & Mo Li characters.

Overall, I liked the drama. Really enjoyed it.
