This was a potential 10 star which lost it's momentum by the end...
When a Snail Falls in Love is an intense, gripping, yet unexpectedly heartwarming drama that blends crime investigation with a slow-burn romance you can’t help but root for. The story follows Prach, the stern and competent captain of the police investigations team (PTI), and Vita, a brilliant but inexperienced rookie profiler. Their first meeting is nothing short of chaotic — Vita, spotting Prach during an undercover operation, mistakes him for a robber and tries to stop him. Naturally, that doesn’t go well. When she later reports him and realizes he’s actually a high-ranking officer, it sets the stage for a dynamic full of tension, clashes, and (eventually) respect.Vita eventually joins Prach’s team, but not without complications. She’s sharp, determined, and incredibly gifted in psychological profiling, but her lack of physical strength and tendency to act alone make it hard for her to fit in. Prach initially resists taking her under his wing, believing she’s not ready for the dangers the job brings. But as he witnesses her dedication, intelligence, and unwavering spirit, he slowly begins to mentor her — and this is where the magic begins. They start solving case after case, and honestly, I’d be lying if I said the cases weren’t gripping. Each one was unique, well-written, and wrapped up cleanly, delivering the kind of investigative satisfaction you rarely get in procedural dramas.
The romance? A slow-burn delight. It takes a backseat in the first 6–7 episodes, but watching Prach gradually fall for Vita — while she remains adorably oblivious — was such a treat. His subtle jealousy, quiet concern, and the way he starts softening around her had me smiling like an idiot. The dynamic between them is slow, steady, and realistic, which made it all the more rewarding once they finally acknowledged their feelings. Their teamwork becomes stronger, their trust in each other deepens, and it’s so satisfying to watch them evolve — not just as individuals, but as partners in every sense of the word.
Now, I’ll admit, the final few episodes get a little rushed and slightly messy in terms of pacing and the main villain plot was not at all properly explained and i am still confused as to what his role was and what actually happened around that part . But the acting — especially from Bie Hsu — carries everything. His performance as Prach is layered, grounded, and magnetic. I genuinely can’t imagine anyone else pulling off the role the way he did. The ending wraps things up on a heartfelt note, showing us their future together, complete with marriage and children — and it felt like such a sweet reward after all the danger, growth, and emotional build-up.
All in all, When a Snail Falls in Love is a satisfying blend of crime, mystery, and understated romance. It’s a unique hybrid that delivers both thrills and warmth, and it left me thinking about these characters long after the final credits rolled. I absolutely adore Prach and Vita, and this drama — flaws and all — has carved out a permanent place in my heart.

MY COMFORT PLACE.....
When I Fly Towards You is one of those rare light-hearted, feel-good youth dramas that instantly becomes your comfort watch. It takes you on a wholesome journey with five friends as they navigate school and college together, but at its heart, it’s the beautiful love story of Zhang Lurang and Su Zaizai that steals the show. From their first accidental meeting on a rainy day — where she scolds him without even knowing who he is — to reuniting in school, their connection unfolds so naturally it feels real. Su Zaizai slowly but surely makes Zhang Lurang feel seen, valued, and wanted. She heals wounds she didn’t cause, and never once asks for anything in return. Watching Lurang, who’s been haunted by childhood neglect and comparison, open up to her… it’s something else. Their relationship goes from strangers ➝ friends ➝ lovers➝Life parters in the sweetest, most organic way, and honestly, it was the softest emotional rollercoaster I’ve ever ridden. This drama doesn’t waste time on annoying tropes like unnecessary misunderstandings, toxicity, or unnecessary side character's drama. Even the few “annoying” characters barely scratch the surface of what Rangrang and Zaizai share. Their bond is unshakable — built on trust, respect, loyalty, and constant communication. They’re always there for each other, always have each other’s backs, and watching their love grow felt so healing. Their dating phase?? ADORABLE. The little moments of jealousy, the awkward flirting, the way they’d get flustered but never mad healed my own trauma. That love confession scene on their first date and Zaizai’s awkwardness after that, her genuine shock when he confessed, and then that little hand-holding moment later where they were both blushing along with the viewers... I wanted to melt into a puddle. And don’t even get me started on their first kiss — it wasn’t over-the-top or dramatic. It was the most peaceful, emotionally satisfying kiss I’ve seen in a drama. That moment where she fell asleep on his shoulder, and he wanted to kiss her but hesitated, and then she suddenly woke up, gave him a shy peck out of nowhere, and panicked while he smiled and kissed her gently — that was EVERYTHING. More meaningful than any aggressive, dramatic kiss ever could be.
Rangrang and Zaizai aren’t just lovers — they’re best friends, soulmates and each other’s escape from the harsh world. The way they love, protect, and believe in one another set the standard so high, I don’t think I’ll ever recover. And the second couple?? Chaotic, hilarious, and adorable. The whole enemies-to-lovers vibe was perfect, and their love confession felt so honest, raw, and innocent that it made me emotional. And Even Guan Fang, our loveable fool, didn’t get a love story, he made sure we all fell in love with his innocence and hilarious charm.
This drama had everything I search for — the friendships, the romance, the growth, the healing, the summer nostalgia, and the pure serotonin. Watching Rangrang slowly gain confidence because of Zaizai, finally start believing in his own worth — that hit deep. And during the proposal scene....I SOBBED. If someone ever confessed and proposed to me the way he did with such sincerity and uniqueness, I’d scream yes while crying hysterically. That scene alone raised the bar for real love. And not just because of Zhang Lurang, but because of Su Zaizai too — she’s the kind of person I want to be for someone I love.
And watching their wedding scene was such a pure and emotional experience. We’ve seen them grow through school, university, and into their careers — step by step, side by side — and to witness them stepping into marriage felt like the most bittersweet gift. On one hand, I was so happy for them, watching them move into this beautiful new phase of their lives. But on the other hand, I was saying goodbye… to their journey, to the characters, and to the warmth this story brought me. All I could do was smile with tears in my eyes, overwhelmed by love, nostalgia, and a deep sense of peace.
This is my forever comfort drama. No other show has made me feel this safe, this full, this understood. Thank you, Zhu Yi, for creating such a beautiful world, for giving us these perfectly flawed, loveable characters, and for reminding us what real, healthy, soul-anchoring love looks like. I wouldn’t change a single thing — because it really is that perfect.
