This is my first Bai Lu and Dylan Wang drama. I watched up until episode 5 then stopped cos I got bored. But I kept seeing feeds in my socials so I started watching again. Just finished ep 19 and I really want to like Dylan, he kind of gave me Edward Cullen vibes, he's gorgeous but dull and looked like he was in pain. They were given good romantic scenes but it was wasted because of the awkwardness. And that phone ringing whenever they have a moment gets really old 🙄please no more from here on out. I'm also lost in translation. And when is the push-pull relationship going to stop?
Finished rewatching Love020 because they are taking it off Netflix. Decided to watch this since I have Yang Yang fever. I believe the FL is portraying her character well. Imagine growing up with a mother like that, I understand why she is the way she is. Just finished ep 23 and I teared up and kept rewinding the part where she said "He is my life! Let me go down there", I felt that. Maybe she will grow a pair from ep 24 🤪 This will be a good watch for those who love DOTS, Captain ❤️ Doctor. Captain Song Yan is so forking hot, I cannot. I feel you. There's nothing similar to Hidden Love I had to watch a totally different genre (Reset) as a palette cleanser. Another Cdrama I enjoyed after HL is Meet Yourself.
This couple had me grinning, crying, blushing, kicking my feet and giggling. I keep dropping the dramas I watched after this. I have seen this more than 10 times already.
The best drama I have seen this year (or ever). It's not perfect, but with all the drama out there, this is the closest to what a relationship should be with family, friends, colleagues, and partners. They had ups and downs but they think rationally and always communicate. The plot is so simple but had a lot of people cringing because of the age gap (5 years in the drama and 7 years in the novel. I read a bit of the novel because waiting for the next episode was killing me but I didn't finish it because the translation was meh). I do understand why the leads first encounter doesn't sit right with some audiences. But I didn't really mind because they were gonna be together eventually. It definitely wasn't like Jiaxu was grooming Sang Zhi. I found it wholesome; as a middle school she admired him as a sort of big brother, as high school she started having a crush on him and it developed naturally. He saw her as a younger sibling and protected her as her brother Sang Yan did up until the time he was the one that needed to be protected and taken care of, he started seeing Sang Zhi in a different light. Watching Sang Zhi portray the different stages of her life and Jiaxu's flirting were the best parts. This has one of the best confessions I have ever seen. I don't believe I have ever seen a drama unfold this way with zero dragging and just two people falling in love together. The way he teases, flirts and the little touches are done so well that you can not help but have a silly grin on your face. I don’t think I’ve ever watched a drama as sweet and romantic as this one before. Thank you for playing the greenest girlfriend and boyfriend Zhao Lusi and Chen Zheyuan! The best brother, Victor Ma who I realized too late was the one who sang Be Your Light, I'm currently addicted to watching his vlogs. I savoured every single episode and will watch it over and over again. This drama has my heart. It wasn't a roller coaster ride, this is like riding a carousel, delightful, calming, and pure. I am so obsessed with this drama, it's not even funny.
Those who got to binge-watch it all together were so lucky because I know how much I had to suffer every day waiting for each episode to air. The BTS are also a great watch to get an insight of why these actors just work so well together.

I started watching other CDramas after this (Go Go Squid, Lighter and Princess, You Are My Glory, When I Fly Towards You, Our Secret, Mr. Bad, Meet Yourself etc. as recommended by others) but the one I enjoyed the most is "Meet Yourself". I finished Our Secret and Mr. Bad, fast forward through the scenes without Li Xian on GGS. I put the others on hold or will drop them altogether as they can't hold my attention.
