Yes... usually dramas show childhood scenes like flashbacks once a while throughout the initial episodes.. In this one, they actually built a solid foundation by showing the entire main events in one episode before going into grown-up versions of the leads..
The first episode is soo enjoyable... with only children for an entire episode. I don't think any other drama in recent days starting with the childhood versions for an entire episode like this one.
It set a beautiful, heart warming and enjoyable tone for the drama.
I know the ratings will change later but it's the first time( in a while am seeing a drama open up with this High…
May be it's because of the emotions 1st ep gave us. The first episode is soo enjoyable... with only children for an entire episode. I don't think any other drama starting with the childhood versions for an entire episode like this one.

So FL has been writing letters to ML? What was the letter about, and why was it not considered a confession letter?…
Did you not watch the entire episodes?? or subtitle problem?
It's not a "rural area", but a "power plant project" has been going on and the engineers etc stay there... those houses are also not their own property or something...but like dormitories for the families of those engineers/employees. The other kids parent's work has finished over there and they went to city. That's why those friends homes are so close to ML's house... essentially that is like residential colony for their parents(since they work for the same employer/company). The FL's father still has 1 year of contract, so the parents of other kids try to convince FL's parents to let her just join the city school and stay in the city with her childhood friends.
And those letters are like just text messages to keep in touch with her childhood friend. That is all. The FL's been feeling down coz she's alone in the power plant school.
Watch the episodes again after reading the above, you can get more clarity then.
Ah, to have someone who cares about you so much and loves you, only you, so unconditionally.. always by your side no matter what and accepting you just as you are, while wanting to make life easier and joyful for you... 😃😇
It was actually pretty nice and beautiful, right?
It set a beautiful, heart warming and enjoyable tone for the drama.
