honestly, I now have a different kind of love for this drama!!! for a lot of ppl it’s just a drama, plot/storyline. but for me this is soooo deep. I went through some traumatic experiences as a toddler/child….my immediate family didn’t know any of it when it was happening…but by some miracle we moved across the ocean. those memories somehow became suppressed for years till I was about 11/12 when something triggered them back in…when I tell you the flood of painful memories just kept coming in for weeeksss. and I couldn’t understand and had no one to talk to about it bc I didn’t know if I was just making stuff up and that’s honestly when I started to spiral. till I started seeking help. and then I realized I wasn’t crazy. when she started bitting on her arm…omg that literally broke me. this show is so real! and did an AMAZING job with showing how trauma can literally shaped/change your mind
I’ve been wondering since the ep where the FL told the ML that he doesn’t have to send the letters she was writing to her grandfather and seniors on the mountain. that QQ would send them. that made me really think whether there are even ppl there. bc how can your imaginary friend send letters and how is the FL receiving letters from there. smh this is all so sad.

that’s so true!! my niece also has autism. I saw the signs instantly when she was a baby. I remember always “invading” her space a lot when she was 1 bc from experience with working with people with autism and what I’ve learned from school…I already knew she would rather be in her own world than to interact with other people (her cousins) we have a big fam. she never liked hugs and kisses. but every day I would always make sure to go to her and give her all the hugs and kisses and basically force her to interact with me. now she’s 5, she still enjoys playing alone but now she’s also playing with others. she was nonverbal for the first two years of her life. but home girl could read paragraphs by 2 she just didn’t want to talk 🤣🤣🤣 I get so nervous when she goes to school bc she doesn’t communicate her pain well and I just hope the world will be nice to her. I think the minds of people with autism is so beautiful and fascinating. I really do feel as those y’all are the real ppl. bc your minds authentic. idk how to describe it. from the time we start talking we start learning social “norms” but with autism..it’s like you do exactly what you feel comfortable doing..if that makes sense
haven’t seen it..I’m not too into contemporary dramas. but I do watch some when there are no good period dramas out. is northward a romance ? or slice of life

i get where you’re coming from…and I do have to remember they were kids. I work with children who are autistic and children/adults with developmental disabilities…but at the end of the day..whether you’re dealing with someone with autism or ppl in general you don’t have to treat ppl like that. his behavior was indeed inappropriate. they all treated him poorly…him being autistic shouldn’t be an excuse for bully. it broke my heart when he gave his college friend a gift and whispered to himself that Kiyoi never treated him that kindly. it’s sad bc with autism when they get used to something it becomes their “norm”. it became normal for him to get mistreated. and you can tell bc even when they reunited at the show when kiyoi was rude to him…everyone else was shocked but he understood that’s how Kiyoi always treated him
In my opinion you should continue because it gets a lot better pass the ep 4 mark. There are also a few plot twists…
I can deal with roller coasters…but I’m really big on loyalty and trust with the main leads…I’ve been trying to venture out from my typical romance dramas. but trust is my only thing I’m very big on. I hate when MLs lie to each other or do shady stuff
first time watching I dropped it bc watching Bai Lu trying to play cutesy gave me the ick. but 2nd time powered…
I hate the voice she has in this drama. idk why Asia thinks to be cute and innocent means acting and sounding childlike. that’s why I couldn’t watch that drama “devils” something
