Allen Ren and Seven Tan <33333333

Super funny and lighthearted show with plot twists and a bit of mystery. The cast was amazing, and the acting was really good. An excellent historical drama to watch if u like comedy and mystery. Aleen and Steven did an amazing job with their acting and there on-screen chemistry was perfect. There's not a lot of kissing scenes but you can still feel the romance and bond between the two leads. I also like the second lead couple. They were amazing even though there relationship developed pretty slow. I dislike the 2nd male lead, he was really immature and annoying. Jingxia already told him she only sees him like a brother but he still causes problems between the main couple. A couple things to look out for are the special effects. They were not good and you could easily tell there fake, especially the underwater scenes. The budget for this drama wasn't too high, therefore the special effects were really trash. it was so funny to watch the actors "swim". This drama would have been a lot better if they had a better budget. There are also a lot of episodes and each episode is pretty long. Some episodes were unnecessary and made the series a little hard to continue. Overall really good drama to watch and highly recommend.

Happy Ending!!!

I went into this drama not knowing what to expect. I usually watch C-dramas but I decided to give this drama a try, and it did not disappoint. The production was really nice. Ko Mun-young's outfits were stunning. The acting done by the whole cast was amazing, you could really feel the emotion in every scene. I love how this drama also focuses on people with Autism and mental health issues as it is not talked about a lot. Overall this is an amazing drama, obviously not for everyone but everyone should definitely give it a try, it will make you laugh and cry.

Definitely overhyped

I went into this drama after hearing a lot of comments on Tiktok and friends and decided to try it out. At first it started off ok, but each episode was extremely slow-paced and the plot wasn't interesting. The main thing that I disliked about this drama was the relationship between the main leads. It felt really awkward watching there scenes. It doesn't make any sense of why a 19 year old highschool girl FELL IN LOVE with a 900 year old guy. The age gap between the leads in the show made it very . I literally had to search up the age difference between both actor/actress because of how uncomfortable their chemistry on-screen was. The relationship should have definitely be more of a Father/Daughter relationship rather than lovers. I really dislike the main female lead, she really pissed me off. She got angry at the most random thing and she is really selfish. She claims she's the goblin's bride but then fight and argue with him. No hate to Jung Hae-in but his character was very unnecessary and was annoying. Some parts that I liked from this drama was the funny interactions between the reaper and Soni, it was really funny and there relationship is kind of of cute:) My favorite relationship is the bromance between the goblin and the reaper. They were so cute together and I mainly continued watching for their relationship. The way they comfort each other even when they bicker and help each other. The cutest scene was when they were both taking medicine because they felt "sick" and "depressed". I usually don't like to leave a show uncompleted but I really couldn't keep on watching, the episodes were long and provided us with barely anything and the plot was very empty. I tried really hard to keep watching but got bored of it every 10 minutes. this drama is definitely overhyped but if you like age gap, slow-paced dramas then you should definitely give it a try. I really did not want to drop this show, but it definitely did not live up to the hype it was given.

Mystery and romance, what more could you want?

Mystery dramas are one of my favorite genres of all time. I love watching these crimes being solved. The coroner job is also so interesting. As someone who wanted to work in that kind of department made this show all the more enjoyable and interesting. Landi Li did an amazing job portraying her role. Plot twists every episode. really keeps you entertained.

Story :
The story was really well done. The plot of the story was very well written. This drama covers about a girl who witnessed the murder of her parents and decide to take revenge. As the show moves along, more plot twists are introduced. Slowly she starts realizing that there is a deeper and bigger plot behind everything. One thing I really liked about this drama is the mystery portion. Like in a lot of mystery dramas, the mystery and crime solving part gets covered with other things, but in this drama they stayed consistent with it and I appreciate it. I love the way the producers did this drama, the way the main female lead solves the crimes and the male lead helps with it. I also really like that there was no misunderstandings between the main couple. They had trust in each other throughout the whole drama which is so rare and it's what makes this drama so much more adorable. I love how the male lead is so confident and proud of his girlfriend and not trying to belittle her. He appreciates her talents and wants her to shine, he helps her in the shadows to still allow her to do things on her own. I also love the side characters, each character was very well designed. I love how the female lead is not only smart but also confident, she is not afraid to say what is on her mind, and if someone is in the wrong she corrects them without hesitation.

CGI:
The CGI was okay, i didn't see much CGI being used which is good, but the scenes where they were under water wasn't the best but I can look past that because the drama was just soo good. I love the costumes too, they were all styled for each character, with their own unique style. I love how the clothes was styled to fit Yongning princess, cuz she's more of a martial/fighting character, so having outfits that allows her to do that easier is really considerate.

Music :
The music was decent! The songs were pretty good but not as appealing as other dramas.

Acting:
The acting was really good by the cast. Landi Li is such an amazing actor, she really portrayed her role well, being tough but also sweet at the same time. Ao Rei Peng also did a good job, he played his role really well. Everyone played their role well. The emotions felt really natural, the sad parts and funny parts were all well done. I really like the grand princess and the empress dowager, their relationship with each other being sisters and all was so wholesome but also their relationship with the main female lead. It wasn't toxic and they were really supportive and sweet. The main couple was also soo cute. Like i said before, NO MISUNDERSTANDINGS!!! that is literally so rare to find in dramas. The couple's relationship felt really genuine and the chemistry was there. Overall I'd say the acting was really good, no really cringe scenes with bad acting. You can tell the difference between the scenes where they were supposed to be serious and when they were goofing around. Very satisfying to watch.

Ending:
I liked the ending, everyone had their own ending and most was happy. though towards the end, again like the biggest problem i find with dramas and that bothers me a lot is being rushed. I feel as the ending was kind of rushed, where they revealed the biggest mystery and everything moved a little to quick where I kind of got lost. I feel if the drama had two more episodes, the drama would finish a lot better and feel less rushed. There isn't that big of a difference from 38 episodes to 40. But forgetting about that, the ending was really sweet> i love how all the couples got a happy ending and everyone who was like important survived.

Amazing drama!! Loved it, will definitely rewatch in the future!!

Glorious

I don't know what to say. This drama has me shook. I actually have like no words. Everything was amazing, the acting to the story to the OST. Ahhhh I love E-Sports dramas so much. It's so cool to watch people play games and make it their life and passion.

Story :
The story was good, definitely different but it's not very of a big shock. The main character Ye Xiu being apart of the most popular E-sports team but gets kicked, then starts a new journey to becoming the best with new people and a new team was amazing. I love how they used rookies as team members to show that hard work pays off and that rookies can play just as well. I love how the producers made the main lead strong but also has a weakness. The touching moments between Ye Xiu and Su Mucheng was also really sweet. Overall the story was well written.

CGI:
The CGI was mediocre. Defenitly not the best but it was ok. It had moments where it would take us into the game as the POV of the player but the animation wasn't as smooth as other shows, maybe because my first E-sports C-drama was falling into your smile which had much better graphics and CGI but this show was still great overall.

Music :
The music was amazing! I love the OST and the song they played for the powerful moments. I love when dramas have good songs and backtracks because it makes watching the show so much more satisfying and comfortable to watch.

Acting:
The acting was really good by the cast. YangYang's acting never cease to fail me. It is just so good. He played his role very well. I also love all the other actors acting. They did very good. A lot of actors I haven't seen or heard of, but they definitely proved they are good actors and played their role really well. What made this drama lose 0.5 points was no romance. There was a lot of bromance which was good but I wanted a bit of romance(I'm a sucker for romance) I really liked the chemistry between Su Mucheng and Ye Xiu, I wish they had something but I guess Ye Xiu only considered her as a little sister because she was the little sister of his bestfriend before he passed away. Overall the acting was really good, each team member had their moments to shine.

Ending:
The ending was great. It was the perfect ending. The plot twist at the end goes crazy. I actually did not expect it. I loved the ending it was very sweet, the way the team works so well with each other and works together to achieve the same goal. Different ages, different roles, different backgrounds all recruited to play on one team, to work together towards glory. Absolute masterpiece!!!

Amazing drama!! Definitely watch if you want something fun, energetic, exciting and different. <3

A good tiktok recommendation lol

Amazing drama! It was really easy to digest and made me really happy with some tears as well. I heard of this drama from tiktok when it was really popular and everyone was saying it was amazing which scared me because I watched a k-drama before suggested by tiktok and it was horrible. So i was very hesitant, but I ended up loving this drama, the main leads were also really cute and I loved this drama so much.

Story :
The story was pretty interesting. A demon who randomly encountered a girl and goes throughs a sudden death, waking up with the demons powers, now they have to work together to solve a mystery of a death which could have been caused by murder. Honestly the plot was really well done. This is not a normal plotline but it worked out great. I love the way this drama shows plot twists and how some people can be very wicked to obtain the goal they want, and also how when people need help the most they turn to a spiritual figure which really shows people's true colors. What I didn't really like was the ending because it felt very rushed, like many dramas they drag the whole show by slow plots, slow burn romances and towards the end they pack everything together created a feeling of rushed. I hate when shows do this because it just makes the ending so unsatisfying. Like so much happened the last two episodes which was crazy when everything was going so well before. It doesn't make sense. All though this drama only had 16 episodes, which would be harder to not rush the plot, it could have done a better job of adding elements that happen at the end towards the middle.

CGI:
I dont know if k-dramas use CGI but I saw a lot in thi8s drama. It was really simple and not overdone. The cool animation when Gu-Won activates his power through Do-Hee was really smooth and cool. Nothing really much to say s I didnt focus on it that much because the producers made it look so clean and smooth.

Music :
The music was great! I love the OST. It's so calming but also packs a punch and it's really nice. The sounds when different event were happening was also really well used. Overall it was really good and made sense for this drama.

Acting:
The acting was really good by the cast. I love how the producers didn't make the female lead weak towards the end because she has a demon protecting her. She was really strong and didn't care and was independent which was really refreshing to see as normally dramas make the female lead weak once they get a man. Not in this case! The female lead was really pretty and did a great job in showing emotion and making the audience feel her pain as well. I cried. The male lead was also really good, he really played the cold but sweet trait really well. The main leads chemistry was so sweet, omg I cant. Also the assistant of Do-Hee and Gu-Won was even cuter. AHHHHHH made me feel so giddy. The other actors and actresses were also really good, especially the eldest son and his deranged attitude. Holy that man was crazy but he portrayed his character so well so props to the actors. Really well done in my opinion.

Ending:
The ending was decent. As I mentioned before, the ending felt very rushed and it felt like everything was moving so fast, which is one reason why this drama didn't get a 10. The ending was also a bit confusing. SPOILERS AHEAD!!!! Gu-Won dies because he brings Do-Hee back to life which is against the policy of being a demon but he does it anyway. DO-Hee is sad and wishes for him back, just to get him back then everything acts like it never changed. This drama lost me towards the end. But overall the ending was happy which is good otherwise I would lose my mind. LOL.

First time tiktok gave me a good suggestion! Overall I recommend you to watch. It;s not very long and it keeps you entertained for sure. Very funy too.

An ok drama, did not exceed expectations

A pretty decent WuXia/Historical drama, nothing much that makes it stand out. I started this drama because of Xu Kai, I watched another one of his dramas "Falling into your Smile"(Highly recommend) and his acting was great. Upon watching this drama, it was a mess and didn't really meet the standard I was looking for.

Story :
To start things off, the story was ok. It had nothing really special and it's a basic plot line. Main character, all powerful and strong with a purpose of revenge but understanding the bigger picture, a evil demon who is trying to take over the world with it's evil disciples, love triangle, second lead becomes evil, you get the gist. It was decently ok but towards the middle of the drama and the end was a bit rushed and got boring. The main female lead( Yu Jingqiu) figuring out her past and how she's all powerful but barely gets to use her mighty power because producers decided she was going to be a weak character and rely on the main lead. The main lead becomes all strong through series of unfortunate events but ends up beating the demon lord. The side characters were what made the drama most interesting and allowed me to finish instead of dropping. What really pissed me off was the death of so many unnecessary characters. Like why kill of so many people??!

CGI:
The CGI was decent, it looked really pretty and some parts were really well executed, especially when the characters would use their "special ability" with the animations of what it's called on the screen making it look like a comic book but in video form. The outfits were also really pretty, I loved the main female and second female leads clothing. The clothing for the main leads at the end of the show was beautiful, the black and the gold and how the main leads matched outfits. That really saved the show in my opinion.

Music :
The OST was amazing and it really helped pack a punch for the drama. Great way to start the drama off. The music throughout the drama was also well executed, having different music for different situations. Very well done in this department.

Acting:
The main leads acting was pretty good, the male lead was really good with his emotions, but of course Xu Kai is a veteran in the acting community so you won't get boring monotone acting from him. The main female lead was ok, some parts did seem fake but overall was still good. The side characters fun and bubbly personalities were well executed given these new actors/actresses don't act much as I have never really heard of them in the acting community. The main lead's chemistry was really good, the fact that the female lead was willing to give up her divine power just to be with him showed the sacrifice of true love. The side characters relationship was my favorite and it was really cute. I love how the second female lead didn't go for revenge when finding out the main male lead likes someone else but she decided to move on. Which was very refreshing to see as in most Wu Xia dramas, the second female lead turns evil... but in this case it was the second male lead(not surprising)

Ending:
The ending wasn't anything special. It was ok. The rush towards the end of the show really irritated me. I hate when directors and producers drag the first half of the show and giving so much context and background just to throw it away towards the end. The ending was nothing special but it did make me cry because of the deaths of so many characters. They really did not need to die but because it's Wu Xia and it's the finale battle, it wasn't surprising when certain characters got killed. The ending was pretty cute, we got to see peace between the world which was pretty good. Thank you so much for letting the main leads to have a good ending despite going through all that. It definitely made the drama worth it.

Was gonna give up on this drama, but thank god the ending was ok which made the lengthy process of 40 episodes worth it.

Sooooo Sweet! <3

My comfort show!!! Never found a show as great as this one. This is my 5th time watching and it never gets old. I will always love this show. The actors in this show did fantastic and the team spirit was definitely present. I'm so glad I found this show and I will be a follower of if till I die. <<<<333333

Story :
The story was amazing, any like feel good drama where the female lead is tough and proves people wrong with a cold protective male lead, except this drama takes place in the modern time and focuses on E-Sports. The female lead being the only girl to play competitively in competitions and being the only girl on the team, needing to prove to the world that women can play just as well as men and maybe even better. The motivation to help someone or do something for myself and the world. The way it shares on the message of idols and their fans relationship causing problems and etc. Now, celebrities don't really have as much freedom and most of the times they follow what their fans say. This makes them lifeless and like a robot, which isn't true cause their human just like everyone else. The main factor is relationships, there is nothing wrong with celebrities wanting to be in relationships and as fans, they should have no right to tell them what they can and can't do. The fact that this drama managed to tell this so well and accurate is amazing. Also the sweet messages between celebrities and fans as well. Overall it's an average story but it has a strong message and provides so much happiness to anyone who watches. It really rings true to it's title "Falling into Your Smile" because as you watch, you would fall in love with the drama and the main lead's romance making you smile during every episode.

CGI:
I loved the CGI in this drama. Although it's a modern drama, the way it brings us into the game and the POV of the characters make it so much more entertaining. It feels real and like we get to see the characters abilities and sometimes even the emotions the actor is feeling is animated into the character. As someone who has played games like this one (League of Legends :p) it's rlly nice to see the actual POV of the game in first person.

Music :
The music was amazing! The intro song, the cute song between the main leads and also the OST!!! OMG i love the OST, it's so amazing it gives you chills while being an amazing song. It usually plays when the main team, ZGDX is playing the game against their opponents. It's a really powerful song and it makes for a really good "feel-good" moment, for ppl who knows what that means.

Acting:
The main leads acting was amazing. Their chemistry was off the charts! The main lead, Xu Kai is not new in the acting industry but he plays the cold guy persona so well. He looks so intimidating but as you warm up to him he becomes so soft and cute. The female lead, one of my favorite actress did amazing too. I've watched a previous drama of hers that I also did a review on, "Vacation of Love 2". She really shined in this drama as her character Tong Yao was so cute and really strong. The desire to prove everyone wrong and that females can play competitively was amazing and I loved how the director didn't right her to become soft once she started dating (as most shows do). The chemistry between both the main couple and second lead couple was so sweet!! The way they were both loyal to their partner despite being famous, especially Ai Jia, the wat he recognizes his girlfriend's car engine was the funniest and cutest thing in the world. The dynamic between all the teammates were amazing too, the way the whole ZGDX team feels like a family was amazing. I also love how the other members weren't babying Tong Yao and was actually treating her as a teammate rather than a girl was so amazing to see. The other competitive teams like YQCB, or FNC or DQ.five's team chemistry was also so good. Acting was amazing and on point!

Ending:
The ending, nothing much to say than it was amazing. Kind of expected who would win the finals but it still provided a feel-good moment and made me cry. The ending was also really sweet with a wedding between the second lead. What makes me mad is the cliff-hanger at the end, how it said that to lookout for next year when they compete for the world cup.... like this was such a great show, you cant just end it like that. We want season 2 pls!!!!

Amazing drama!! Loved it, can never get sick of it. Pls make season two, bring us back Tong Yao and Lu Si Cheng. Also if season two does ever happen, pls make it the same cast and not another version with a new cast.
