By your logic he should get retired instead of being bullied like this.
My second reason is- he didn't work with Tencent for a long time, so obviously they won't give him a big Male centric drama right away, there is nothing wrong with doing a female centric drama, most of the audience is female, they love to see these type of female centric drama's, also someone mentioned that LYF2 Flopped because of messy love line, that's not true, LYF1 was a big hit because of this messy love line, more suiters FL have, bigger the hit drama is( eg- LYF, tale of rose, TPR and many more), and the type of role CZY has in FIN he will certainly be more popular than FL when the drama will be out.
The times I praised Tencent, I might sound like a Tencent agent, but you can't deny that they are biggest in china, you can't expect them to give him a Male centric drama straight away, this happens to others as well, you have to do a support role or FC drama to get a MC next time, this can be the reason why CZY accepted it, the points you guys mentioned like two scripts or Iqiyi using him as resource trading are just your assumptions, you blame Tencent, ZJY agency while the only one to blame in this whole shit is his agency, ZJY agency even if they are doing shady stuff, they are doing for their actor, everyone is doing that, blame CZY's shitty agency who can't defend him.

She is wrong indeed, I just pointed these two out because these type of characters often perceived as good people, but I hate them the most, if grandma allowed minglan' to divorce, then she could have used her real name when she met duke, and they would have lived a happy life, instead she got killed.

I don't have to prove it to you if I am a fan or not, I probably seen more of his dramas than you, seems like your first day here, or are you someone from a new ID, did I say anything bad about him, I just said what I felt, you don't have to agree with my opinion.

Ok, I didn't know that, they are ZJY'S or JJY's fan was not the main point, what I want to say is, let the actor choose for himself, he is not a newbie, I believe that if he chooses this drama it means he liked it, scripts change most of the time when it's adopted from a novel, from the previous synopsis also it was evident that it's more inclined towards FC, I don't believe they change the script after he signed the contract, these Chinese fans are way too sensitive, and I am saying this to both side of fans, nothing was clear about billing or FC but things were blown out of proportion, by boycotting the drama you are forcing your favourite to back out from a drama which he obviously wanted to do, if he is treated poorly he can back out on his own, why are you forcing him, and what will you do if this thing happen again, if he back out this thing will happen again then there will be only two options left, get second billing with more senior /popular actress or First billing with less known actresses, he will never be able to work like actress like TXY,ZJY, ZJM,ZY which are comparable in popularity with him, this is all I wanted to say, I will not comment about this anymore, and I know you guys will not agree with my point, but let me be clear, I am also a fan , maybe with a different mindset than yours.

Both sides are blowing it out of proportion, I believe CZY knew it's gonna be female centric when he signed to do this, it's not that easy to change the script in short period of time, they should have updated the synopsis earlier, but I still feel billing and novel being Female centric doesn't matter much if he has the impactful role, take example of 'princess royal' it was FC and ZLH was 2nd billing, even SML has more screen time than him, still people loved his character more than FL, 'the rise of ning' airing now is FC but ML character is more popular than FL, as I said earlier Chinese audience like strong ML like the CZY character in FIN, It won't matter much if novel is FC, and I don't believe he will be second bill, if this drama fell through like LOTL, it will be very detrimental for his relationship with Tencent, IQIYI is already doomed, I'm afraid we will be left in drama drought like happened after LOTL.
