Not Gen Z, but I loved this drama, and I totally understand you. I am the biggest Zhao Lusi fan, but honestly the 1t time I tried to watch it, I felt exactly like you. Then I saw all the hype, and clips and thought let's give a second try and I liked it a lot. tastes differ and you have the right to your opinion and feelings. to be honest this one is not the best, if I must choose between this and Gen Z (Houlang) I think Genz is better.

I was a Kdrama girly. one day I was searching on Netflix for new show to watch and i clicked on "Falling into your smile", which obviously was Cdrama, I loved it so much, that I had to search more Cdramas in Netflix. that's how I watched "I hear you" and thought what a cute girl, I have to see more of her work. The next one was" Please feel at ease Mr Ling", and I fell deeper in love with her. Next was Who rules the world and love like the galaxy. I became instant fan girl. I watched all her shows. but my favorite show is love like the galaxy, but character wise Sun Toa Toa is the absolute best role she played in my opinion. I loved her mannerism , her facial expression, how she portrayed that role so effortless was just awesome.
