Yes, that was a spot on! Hiro's stance was truly remarkable on that one to which his “Cool” side was accurately depicted on, just as how Kai described him. With Kai by his side, Hiro started to feel like his old self again like a newfound strength. I really admire how Kai showed his vulnerability by getting attached to people, and how that fear transformed into determination when Hiro accepted his proposal. Their story unfolding was just perfect. Too bad, I couldn't share my thoughts with anyone else, so I'm glad I can randomly reply about it in the comments and then found yours. You have a keen eye for detail, thank you for noticing and appreciating the character development that often goes unnoticed.

I feel the same way! I can't quite pinpoint the similarity either. Maybe it's because the story began in a shared house, or maybe I just can't find the right words to describe it. But this series truly touched my heart. It brought back that initial feeling of why I fell in love with Japanese BL's and mangas. all throughout the film, i was the villain myself. it is so good that i cried while watching them run through the woods. the monster was me, i judged each character. it is so scary to think how a perspective could kill and could create a different narrative of what u believe yourself.
