This is why I never watch drama on ratings because there are people who downgrade or give bad reviews because of the actors or actresses that playing the role is not their favorite. If the drama draws me in, I keep watch. In this case this drama kept delivering so I kept watching. The chemistry was great so when I read the negative comments, I have to laugh and think, are you kidding me. 😂

This is by far one of the best modern drama that Xu Kai has made. He has such wonderful chemistry with Tan Song Yun. I’ve seem him in other drama but couldn’t feel the chemistry as I did in this one. Great job by all the actors and actresses.

I know some people were biased and hate the FL but you have to see it from the point that she’s never been in business before and was naive. When she felt betrayed (like when we all do), you do stupid things to get back at people who hurt you especially the one who you love. However, the writers did a great job with her maturing and learning from what happened to her.

In the end, great drama especially the extra episode to capture how much HT and JX loves each other. Thank you for the person that mentioned all episodes were available on YouTube. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

This is why in real life you don’t mix business with pleasure because it’s bad business, however this is drama for you. Communication is horrible between the ML and FL so that is why so many misunderstandings. However, the FL is valid in her feelings of betrayal and the ML is also valid about business aspects. HT is trying to help JX because of his grandpa expectations but has to hide it. JX is naive when it come to business and fells to see that HT is helping her. JX does learn later how cut throat business is but is a little close minded when it comes to her business and she felt an attack.

Viki is only releasing 1 episode a day so I get to read your update. Can’t wait to see them make up.

I think she has improved a little but still relies too much on trying to look cute with poutin. There are scenes where she should cry but you don’t see tears or emotion like other actresses to truly connect with emotions. I agreed that she should take on smaller roles to develop. I had to drop a few of her dramas because I just couldn’t feel any emotion through her expression.

Which is sad because what a waste of good talent. I’m one with a lot of us here that keeps watching a bad drama because he’s in it and it’s not his fault. Good talent wasted. 😒

One person that I would love to see him pair with is Zhao Lusi, she’s an amazing actress.

He needs a lot more ML roles. His acting skills are so much better than some other that are getting ML roles. I agreed that he needs a good strong FL that can bring out the skills he has.

I know someone skipped to the ending. 🤣. Is it happy?

I see a lot of comparisons between TLI to ALP. I’ve watched both and I can truly say I was not a big fan of ALP. I fast track a lot on ALP where on TLI, I didn’t. I found the storyline in TLI was a lot more interesting and I had a better connection with the characters in TLI then in ALP. Did I wish the ending in TLI had them hugging instead of just staring at each other, yes but I blame that on the screenwriters. Overall both series have their flaws and greatness.

Has anyone finished this series because on review, a few people claimed they finished it. I just hope HS gets what she deserves and FL and ML finally clears the air and be together.
