it was already as ridiculous as it could've gotten, but then a fucking DRAGON SPAWNED OUT OF NOWHERE WHERE THE HELL DOES IT COME FROM WHY WHY THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A SCI-FI im peeing myself please đđđđ
why is that old woman so freaking disturbing. she starts yelling randomly, expects her daughter to marry a stalker, and wants to control all aspects of her life, with the excuse of doing it for her own good. she's thirty, for fuck's sake. i just hope they'll do something about her sooner than later caue im becoming impatient and im only at ep5.
I tried to watch this drama.but I found it too slow.Episode 1 was fine but the acting or story was too slow.i…
that's how it works with historic/costume dramas... maybe it's not your genre? the acting was delivered almost peefectly, and the story was actually built up quite nicely: not too slow, but also not rushed.
I've been putting this off for months, but I finally decided to give it a try two days ago. never made a better decision. by episode 11, I'd already considered this drama as one of the best, second only to âwho rules the worldâ. never skipped ahead, never found uninteresting plots or characters. it's a hidden gem to me, I'm so glad I found it.
can anyone tell me what the difference between his title of commander and her title of general is? it's the first…
I think it's because Xiao Army is sort of like a private army that serves the nation, so the âCommanderâ title gets passes down from generation to generation â hence why they have such an ancestral hall and they always speak first with their ancestors about war and military things, before addressing Xiao Jue's parents. on the other hand, He Yan's a general because she commands a larger unit of the national army that is not historically related to a certain family â which also explains why they reinforce the fact that she started twice as a rookie and was still able to become a general.
It is really good, but all cdramas are the same. Mostly with a submissive woman in a lower financial situation…
well, that's not entirely true. while cdramas indeed tend to portray women as submissive, it's not always the case. âwho rules the worldâ is one of those dramas where the fl is actually a badass. in âgo aheadâ the female lead has nothing more or less than the male lead. but for example, in âlighter & princessâ, the fl is indeed 'behind' the ml, not because she's stupid or else, but because she supports him and believes in him. I don't mind a trope where the woman is a step back compared to the man, but I absolutely hate when they don't portray them as responsible, smart, independent... I need them to have good qualities, not just being cute or whatever.
Had to drop it halfway through the first episode because I couldn't take the incoherence of the main lead: first he meddles in her business, then when she accuses him of ruining her life he says it has nothing to do with him. Like damn bro, pick a side. Also, why is it always the woman who has to have these «not so good» qualities? Absolutely not worth it.
Like she said to the policeman on ep 15âŠshe opened her mouth but she didnât drive the car. Meaning everyone…
that makes sense, but not so many survivors are still that clear-minded to actually put up a revenge plan like this. most people just want to see them dead, sometimes even killed in a brutally way, and I think that's totally relatable. not everyone can be this calm after all those things
Also, why is it always the woman who has to have these «not so good» qualities?
Absolutely not worth it.
