Why is this considered the first KBL? I saw some older KDramas and KMovies with BL themes. Are you guys talking…
It's not considered the first KBL its considered the mother of KBLs because of how popular it got. It brought a whole new era to the genre. This is where we started seeing longer episodes and higher budget productions. So while it wasn't the first KBL it really kinda established it as a genre
I figured I have to watch this drama because its iconic and there have been quite a few moments I have enjoyed so far (ep 6) but the Goblins behavior is really getting annoying. I don't see how this drama is rated an 8.8 as of now. I am living for Sunny and the Grim Reaper though
I also like that there are times when it's the reverse, and goes over Kohei's head. Granted, it's more rare.
I mean I don't think it's necessarily that it goes over Kohei's head at least yet bc there is plausible deniability and when you like someone these signs are hard to properly read. Now the next ep may very much prove my statement wrong I just don't see it yet. Especially since Kohei made it clear he didn't want to do anything Taichi doesn't like. In my mind it could very much be he's just being careful as I don't see him as the naive type
I just have to say I love the dynamic when something goes over Taichis head and Kohei just is straight with him and is like its annoying you didn't pick up the context ofc in a lighthearted way
the first 4 eps were hard to watch for me but the 5th ep is cute real cute I wonder if I would've continued watching if I had not started this after the first 5 eps aired
