Oh god, just watching the 1st episode and I seriously want someone to bash up the fmc. Can someone spoil me if she will keep this up and go around sleeping around with men? I also don't understand why KYD always likes to play simp roles. Godddd

It's funny to see someone jump to conclusions with "Lee" as first name 😆. Btw one of my fav dramas is City Hunter and just coz u like it doesn't mean u can trash others opinions.

Ugh what a disappointment this show already is. Glorifying cheating already with both leads already having a partner.

I also don't get why kdrama plots are obsessed with including a foreigner whom they use as a circus monkey to make it seem as if the show is special in some way when all it does is make it stand out in a bad way, especially when they have no idea how to use foreign actors well. At least include them in a natural way.

And despite the huge budget they have, they can't even bother to use proper vfx or cgi. Just look at that scene where the woman is reporting news from "Kazhkastan". It can't look more obvious how they simply slapped a background behind her and even the lighting on her to blend her into the bg is horrendous. I can literally see the reflection of the film lights on her face which has like a kilo of foundation.

So sad to see what could have been a compelling scifi drama go to waste.

That's why I said all characters in this drama suck. I regret holding high expectations for this.

Ughh how cringy and disgusting all the characters are, especially ML when it comes to his unhealthy obsession over FL.

Imagine if it was some ugly and fat guy drooling over FLs face up close and wondering if he should kiss her. Would people think it's "cute and innocent" anymore? I don't think so.

But if it's a handsome dude he gets a freepass. Seriously Koreans should go easy on their unhealthy ideas and standards.

Fine I gave it 1 star because I was pissed by having my hopes dashed. I shall give it 4.5 for what it's worth even though my review isn't really going to affect this drama's ratings. More like a drop in the ocean.

No but their summary misled me. "Shadows of his life", "redemption", "new beginnings", "ex-convict" and all made me have wrong expectations. I should have known that going in jail for selling a candy can also make you a ex-convict.

Obviously I have to look somewhere else even if nothing is there :/

This isn't a review but a comment to post one's thoughts. At least my comment will be helpful to those who might have the same expectations as me.

That's what I said. I expected too much and I commented my opinion and left the drama already. Why are you getting so upset though?

Not necessarily. The word "mobster" made me expect something more than just usual rom-com which there is already abundance of. If they had mixed rom-com with some interesting plot and a grey character ML then this drama could have had the potential to stand out in top 10.
