yes junseo silently help her agency and told the CEO that he wanted her to be part of his movie, bcoz he just wanted to simply help her to reach the top.. but he didn't force her to..since eps 1 until 7, never once he forced anything to her, it's always been him letting she did what she wanted.... just watch the scene on eps 7 where she discussed with inkang..she also put interest on the movie... it was her decision in the end.. she approached the director at the funeral..n next day,she had a meeting with the director, the director mentioned about the marriage rumor, then CEO miri said about inkang's wish to retire which made ahjin felt annoyed coz it'd be problem to her plan to rise the top.. that's why she went to inkang for breakup..coz her priority has always been about her being on the top..

the thing with Junseo confronting her is that room is that he wanted to know how was she doing so far.. he tried to dig out from CEO miri but she didn't gave him a definite answer.. he wanted to hear from Ahjin's own mouth.. coz she never answered him for over the year...he wanted to know if she's really happy or in love with inkang.. but instead answering him, she asked about his relationship with lena, is that jealousy or what? if she's truly happy with inkang, she should just tell him to back off coz she's eventually happy, like she did to him on eps 4.. but she left him hanging like that with no answer.. she's the one who promised him that she would date inkang for only a year... then she should be the one who answer that question..

you guys just want to tolerate her as much as you can coz u can't see her as a flawed character here who could do bad things towards good people...and projecting the blames on the other character..

If it were pure obsession, he would try to control her completely or force her to stay, but he never crosses that line. Instead, he respects her choices even when it hurts him, which actually points to love rather than possession.

all Junseo wanted is her to be successful like she always wanted.. she has said to him on ep 4 that no matter what she wanted to go to the top...did you see how Ahjin was not happy when knowing about the marriage rumor? the director told her that the marriage rumor is not gonna be good to the movie? and asked her to sort it out? she was the one who eventually wanted to star in the movie, not forced by Junseo.. at outside of the funeral place, she was the one who approached the director.. and the director put interest in her.. that's when she decided want to star in the movie.

- She said that she didn't need them to do anything when the grandma died, he wanted the surveillance video. If he didn't take it, In Gang could have seen by himself that she didn't kill his grandma.

u know what? if ahjin really cared for inkang, she would be the one who told him the truth right at the funeral that she didn't push the grandma.. why would wait for him to see the CCTV footage? that's not needed..as u claimed she was happy with inkang..she could hv told him that she was with the grandma that day..and didn't she tell her full story to the police? and inkang didn't even know? (this kinda feel like a loophole tbh)

- He says that he wants her to be happy but he is the first bringing her pain. He just wants to be the one "saving" her, but to save her, she needs to need to be saved, which cannot happen if she's happy.

yes he's always been wanting her to be happy.. he even brought jaeo along so he could at least see her laugh .. and also when she said she wanted to learn to love inkang, he held it in and not went mad, she let her.. but she was the one who made promise to him that it was only a year, if she truly happy with inkang, then she needed to give him the closure so he wouldn't be left in the dark without knowing anything.. when he confronted her, instead of answering yes or not, she should hv told him right away, the reason of why she wanted keep staying with inkang.. she was not even so sure yet (not until the grandma died, it was solely coz of the grandma she stayed.)

how convenient of you to connect every of her tragic stories to junseo, all those happenings, from his dad, his mom, the stalker, with the grandma falling down and inkang's suicide got nothing to do with him. it's all those bad circumstances got on her way.. not caused by junseo...he didn't bring her pain.. but her surroundings are.. if he really bring her pain, SHE WOULD CUT HIM OFF FOR GOOD U KNOW... but see on eps 8.. she was still gaslighting him and making sure with the words said by her that he can't just escape her.."you're the first person i let to be by her side..."

you wanna defend her fine but don't project all the blame solely into junseo.. he was there from day 1 who took care of her.. protect her the way that he could..

He probably tried to kiss her because he was desperate, scared, emotionally drowning, and trying to hold onto the one person who has shaped his entire emotional identity since they were kid.

tbh, ahjin should really let him go if she doesn't care about him at all.. but she keeps on playing his emotions..

junseo works as a novelist and pretty famous.. and also now working as a script writer and investor to entertainment world..(this is not on the webtoon)
jaeo seems to be working as an errand boy in a private investigator office, but didn't show it that much in the drama.. but in webtoon, it does show..

you have to understand that junseo has been heavily influenced by Ahjin (manipulations and gaslights) since he was young and his mother didn't really care about him aside of his money...but he seems to be quite close with the grandpa though.... but his main focus is always about Ahjin.. coz he feels like he needs to protect her coz of his guilt ridden motivation since he was young.

as for jaeo, he's also manipulated by Ahjin, she was saying stuff like he's an useful person to her.. not someone who's trash.. he's worthy.. and for him, nobody ever said such thing to him., that's why he treats Ahjin like some sort of "GOD".. he kinda worships her and willing to help her with anything she needs..

he didn't know that's why he asked her.. ahjin the one who promised him "no worry, junseo ya.. i'll only date him for a year..." she never said "i won't tell you anything about my date with inkang, so you don't interfere me...get lost.."

Junseo was not rich in the webtoon version, and no grandpa story as well... he was rich AFTER he exposed ajin, he become a well known writer...

in the drama, he become rich after they parted way in eps 4..and he already is well known writer and even wrote scripts for movie (this isn't in the webtoon too)

so in webtoon version, ajin was the one who approached the rich CEO and found information about him, even meeting with his ex-wife.
but drama version, it seems the rich CEO the one that approached her first..

i'm not a hater of the FL.. i pity her as much as i pity the ML.. but seeing how the most you keep on blaming the ML is not fair..
coz both turned this way is coz of the circumstances that made them both this way, blame should be falling to their bad parents.. why you all people just one sidedly only blame it all to the ML??

it's more like you're all not understanding why the ML did what he did in the story..
he was indeed manipulated and gaslighted for his whole life to make him to act this way towards the FL.. the FL shaped him since young.. his world is all about her coz she was also the only person who cared for her since young that his mother never gave it to him.. it;s just made sense that how much he become dependent on her, even til the last episode 8, she still was gaslighting him, guilt trip him so he would feel guilty again and the more he couldn't leave.. n that was her purpose.. not making him leave..

she said "you could leave... but you know that you're the first person i let to stay by my side", how could he leave if she said something like that?

one thing for sure, what driven him to act this way is the guilt he felt since he was young shaped by ahjin (intentionally let his mom hurt her on the bathtub, in front of him) and the bad circumstance with his despicable mom..

He has always wanted her to live a normal life and be happy. But what I noticed in earlier episodes was that people didn’t want Ahjin to redeem herself at all, because to them she was a sociopath through and through. Now that she’s shown some humanity with the grandma incident, everyone suddenly cheers for her, ‘Oh, she actually has a conscience.’ But at the same time, they’re quick to blame Junseo for not believing her.

when he's the only one person who wanted her to live normal life, people blamed him, "she's not supposed to be saved! just let her be, leave her alone, she is what she is, no one change her.."

but then when he doubted her that she could just do thing to the grandma, coz he was the witness to her dad's death hence he doubted, but actually more like concerned of what she would do to another innocent people, they blamed him too, "why he didn't believe her? he claimed to know her so well.. but why he doubted her? see, she actually has some hope.. she could be better.."

cut him some slacks,people.. he has had enough too..

i also don't think he's that crazily obsessed type with her, considering that when she cut ties with him on eps 4.. he was in pain but stayed silent and not even bother her in those years..
then when she said to her she wanted to learn to love inkang, he was also in silent but in pain.. he endured that and didn't even contact her for a year.. he was just asking her coz she was the one who promised her that she would be done with inkang after a year.. he just needed to make sure what's up with her and inkang.. did she really happy? she should just answer him.. not let him hanging like that..
