Why are you even voicing your opinion when you don't know the context. It's pretty visible that ppw fans creditied everyone in the quote of gmmtv trend post. The dispute only occured when some people were downgrading ppw stating the show got popular not because of them but other casts in a sense to spread hate to uplift their faves. To which, fans responded saying that they are the main casts. That's all . I don't see any insecurity but rather logical answer directed someone who had spread hate also nowhere do you see ppw fans saying anything when the topic of discussion was just hyping the scenes when there were other casts but rather they were enjoying too.

So, your whole argument seems as if you are trying to create fan wars when there is no need.

The casts are pretty close and they have a lot of mutual fans so, don't try to create a new problem.

I don't understand why the quality of this show has to be discredited with the argument that rating is higher because of the fans.

There are shows which are better and of lower rating. I have said nothing on that matter. But you said "fans will accept anything" which is never really the case. And solely giving cp fans the credit for higher rating is so insulting to this show and the efforts the team put in it.

It's so funny you are saying this. Three of the biggest couple as the fanbases are all buddy buddy with each other. The amount of fanwars on X are so absurd its laughable. Contrary to the higher rating, putting 3 cps together has opposite effect since fans can't be satisfied no matter what is done. Saying fans will accept anything is ignorant. Since during we are era, fans were criticising the director for not handling ensemble well or badly directed kissing scenes but now all we can see is how fans and non fans alike are prasing the mat team for good direction as well as comedic timing. Fans are the people who want best for their cp so when a show is bad they are the first to criticize. Just accept the fact that this drama is good.

As you have said after 4 episodes , does it deserve 8.8. I mean only 4 eps are out and people are rating it as they watch it and when the show is airing rating not only dictates its current quality but also the expectations for upcoming epsiodes. And to that the rating is very well deserved and it increased as the show went on I remember it had 8.2 in ep 1 so, no majority of it's rating is not because of fanbases. Also this whole argument about it not having stonger plot is completely baseless. Plot might contribute to overall vibe or depth of the show but it's not the sole determining factor for a show to be good. For instance, MAT excels at good storytelling and comedic timing also the romantic buildup of somwhat absurd couple. And the shows you have mentioned are lacking as well. Let's take revenged love, as much I did like it; the character development in that show was horrible the last episodes was way to dragging and pacing was all over the place also it also had a simple plot so did bad buddy. The only difference between mat and them is MAT is more lighthearted not of a weaker plot. I think you are confusing between them. Talking about cinematography, MAT easily excels at it; the camera angles, the colours of this show are beautiful. I can see the amount of efforts the team put in this also not to mention the pacing and character development. And this being one of the best bls is indeed a topic of discussion but it has yet to prove itself with rest of its episodes for now it definitely deserves its higher rating for what it has given.

It's clear that you haven't watch the series and do you even follow gmmtv at all? Because all the casts of this show are top actors/actresses of gmm so mentioning only william who just had only 5 sec cameo in recent ep seems out of place. Also, all the casts of me and thee might have gave it its initial popularity but appreciation and impact comes when the show actually delivers what it had promised and beyond. And why are you so bent on the fact that it is a romcom. It is just a good drama and people like it thus giving it the hype pretty straightforward. Moreover, it has wide spread appeal due to it refrencing lakorns which had cultural impact on thai audiences so it is popular outside bl spaces. In short, it's a good drama which is well executed and receiving praises for it. But if you don't like it , don't watch it. Noone is forcing anything.

I don't really get it why romcom as a genre is underappreciated. You seem like you have not watch the series just because a series is romcom or any other genre it doesn't decide it's quality. The hype for this series is well deserved for what it has to offer. If gmm makes more series like this, I am pretty sure everyone would be delighted, since it is just that beautiful. Also, I don't really get why you are complaining since gmm has other series which are more heavy plot-wise. Currently, burnout syndrome is airing also ticket to heaven is yet to come. You are not looking at the right places. This series is nothing like any other series, you are welcome to argue any of my points.
