Agree 100%. The actors and the production team just did an amazing job! The casting, the FX, OSTs, direction, costumes, just everything was point. Plus, JLFX adapted the work for screenplay herself and I can see how she improved on certain parts. I am having major Shen Li hangover since I think I loved almost all the characters
This is the most faithful and wonderful adaptation of a novel in a long while! They kept all the strong women forward and centre, the romance was both slow and chef's kiss, and they gave us the extras!
mjcsfla1 haha me too! and sometimes she would do it so abruptly and out of the blue. I think episode 5 or around there, she suddenly screamed and made me jump that i had to take a short break.
and yes, the ML's mother was so calming and cute. I wanted to have more interactions with all of them together
this was so refreshing! one of the best of noona and independent female lead dramas. The love triangle with SML was handled so well, the mother became more complex, and Lisa turned out to be excellent! 100% will rewatch

Poor Ju Nam, would have been fun to see him appear in Joseon lost and confused. But i really enjoyed this show and the ending is not as bad people are making it to be

update: they wasted time with the Baek-Ju Nam love line that was very unnecessary but the rest was really good. And the ending was self-explanatory, don't know why people are upset. Would only have been fun to use that last minute to show Ju Nam arriving in Joseon practically in underwear and wondering what happened rather than the Dol Soe death scene.
