5 minute happy ending🤣, I am not sure if we will get even a 2 minute happy ending .And somehow my intuition says it might be that flowers blooming while Feng Yin stands and Yuan Qi gazes on her scene that might be the happy ending don't know why just a feeling. Back From The Brink gave us mere 30 to 50 seconds of Happy ending

I want to make an explanation for Gu Jin /Yuan Qi's character.

Like yes he did wrong by punishing her but his intentions from the beginning was never to kill her.

To explain further. First when A Yin was dying due to her short life span and her hair turned white , Gu Jin gave her his chaos power blood everyday and then later with Bibo's help gave half his immortal powers to increase her lifespan. So its not he doesn’t love her for gods sake that man had imprinted A Yin with his soul mark at ep13 to protect her whenever she is in danger.

A)When Daze mountain perished Gu Jin sacrificed his true gods soul Chaos power to resurrect the entire Daze mountain disciples (this process would take few 100 years) again he left just one fragment of his soul in his body.(he is truly just one shot away from dissappearing of this world like his Father Bai Jue in ALP)

B) At the same time he didn’t know Hua Shu had used his name and authority deceived everyone and punished A Yin with 6 thunder strikes and Hua Shu even added her own powerful immortal power to the thunder making it even more painful for A Yin.

C] Hong Yi the Fox was possessed by Hong Ruo (Qing Li) because Hong Yi had given away the buddhas bracelet that protected him and this Hong Yi who is now possessed masscared Daze mountains and A Yin later sets A Jiu free because she knows that it was not him but the demon. Gu Jin knows this too.He was buying time by locking Hong Yi unfortunately he didn’t dicuss the plans he had and When A Yin set Hong Yi free the "entire immortal world" demanded True God Yuan Qi to do his duty and punish the person who set Hong Yi free and started the demon immortal war.

"One of the main reasons why Gu Jin didn't want to take on his role as Yuan Qi True God is personal matters can no longer be his first priority or responsibility he is answerable to all the mortals , demons and immortals injustices ."

D)When this happens , Hua Shu had secretly punished her and A Yin was also one shot away from death. Gu Jin idea was to strike her with the thunder from his sword one time and banish her to Qingshi palace for few hundred years so that she will be away from this chaotic situation and by then both Daze mountains and she will be safe .

Yet because he didn’t know A Yin was punsihed by Hua Shu and his one thuderstrike was enough to dissipate her spirit. So yes he truly did love never wanted to kill her.

The script adaptation could have made few things better especially Gu Jin's characters he truly did deserve A Yin's love he wasnt and isnt that bad in the novel.

Both Gu Jin A Yin and Yuan Qi and Feng Yins love story is beautiful

Li Yun Rui got his ML drama with Xu Ruo Han(She is also an actress I have been liking recently pretty good actress) its finished filming and wrapped up recently called Go Back Lover.

So maybe in the future he won't be steve in Lusi's drama who knows we might get them as Main CP in few years.

As for HKL even though the dramas he has been in is less and most of them are supporting roles , he is very charismatic and good at acting , so it would be a loss to not see him as an ML (he is 29 this year maybe in 2 or 3 years he can rise up and get some leading roles) I hope but I know how cut throat C ent is , still doesn't hurt to dream that he can get a main role one day.

Its an irresistible urge to catch up despite not being the best/excellent quality CGI etc.
The drama is still interesting enough overall to watch . Especially A Yins acting around epsiodes 14 to 20 was sweet yet equally heartbreaking 💔 I enjoyed these episodes.

Lol 😆 🤣 Lan Feng's CON is hilarious he truly does have very poor taste 🤣.
But yes even though he has poor taste in lovers.He isn't a nepotism encourager like daddy peacock thought he would be and I am glad about that.

Though I still dont like how he subjected Xian Zhu and his lover Wan Yue to a sad fate .Nevertheless I understand that this is not the rules he set still that was a pretty upsetting scene yet very telling epsiode of what A Yin and Gu Jin's future would be too.

Now Ao Ge (truly a very interesting characters lovely depth plus point the actor is excellent he needs main lead roles would definitely watch his dramas)
Ao Ge and the three life stone's story is interesting to watch . I also like how he is striving to increase his life span by any means . I do think in the future episodes they will have a pivotal role just not sure whether it is going to be in a positive or negative direction.

Another point to add is how blind the immortals and demons are , even A Yin (the sweet girl with low immortal power) notices many thing quickly whether it is Hua Shu being a deceiving sweet talking two timing peacock , or Lady Hong Chou's hedonism and telling her off for it and then in the future when she notices the change in A Jiu (Hong Yi) but others aren't able to.She catches the things that the immortal world is willingly/unwillingly blind to.

So while many might not love /adore A Yin or want the cool Feng Yin to appear .(I like both her characters , while I admit I only want Feng Yin to appear sooner because that means A Yin can be avenged for her sufferings)

I love that A Yin's character who has unreserved love for many , the way she selflessly uses her healing powers , stands by her friends fearlessly, her courage and smartness she shows.

But the world doesn't treat her kindly in return and hence the world and the immortals are undeserving of such goodness .
It reminds me of what I felt when I saw my kind and sweet friends who are used and hurt over and over again.
A Yin reminds me of them and the way her character is slowly going away from the bright joyful being she was in the beginning to the one filled with grief 💔 touches me more due to my personal experiences.

Special mention:- Love my girl Yan Shuang She is the best girl (love her character ) and a true friend of A Yin who will stand by her and protect her just like A Jiu.

Last point irrelevant yet relevant to TLI I want Ao Ge (HKL) and A Yin(Lusi) to have their own drama in the future their CP chemistry shouldn't be wasted.

Aunt Hong Chou is too overconfident in her abilities and is blind to what it truly means to be a True god .

True Gods wouldn’t have her classist hierarchical mindset if they did. Yuan Qi's Father wouldn’t sacrifice himself for the betterment of the whole world.

If true gods truly thought like her and killed innocent lowly mortals, immortals and beasts so they can stand at the top the world /survive the entire world would be immersed in utter chaos.

She is just 🥱 such a pathetic person overall.

2 or 3 are the most probable.

I had that slump past year ,so this year was my year for Cdramas 😅. I am more a Chinese novel reader who picked up Cdramas due to adaptations.

I think ultimately everyone should watch what they enjoy the most.

CGI wise and even script wise unfortunately for TLI this year there some really good xinaxias especially Iqiyi being their competitors its not their fault that they would be comparison since Youku and Tencent cant be even 1/10 th of Iqiyi production quality when it comes to post production and their variety of good dramas.

Back from the brink (CGI isn't the best but it was still a better script)

The Starry Love (a surprisingly good one this year I enjoyed the good sisterly relationship this series displayed something rare in Xianxia world where women are pit against each other especially sisters)

Till the end of the moon (its a visual treat )

Lost You forever (Good script and CGI isnt bad , Characters you can root for and hate)

This is my objective perspective despite being a fan of both the actors of this series.

If you really want excellent CGI and excellent script then I will have to warn you there are flaws this series only finished shooting in April this year and their post production wasn’t given enough time by tencent(Plus I never really like tencents CGI or rather their Xianxias)

But as someone who does some CGI rendering and rigging I can notice the flaws so it depends upon the viewers perspective.

Two unlike how much I trusted the scriptwriting for this series since its Liu Fang unfortunately she has not adapted this script to the best she could. Rather its surprising to see this is the quality seeing she is the one doing the screenplay.

Third I think you should watch atleast first 5 to 10 episodes and see whether you will like it or not. Judge it for yourself without the biased comments of fans/antis/sexual harrasment commentators which mdl won't take care off.(😶)

I just was waiting for this since I really liked the novel, its been an okay watch so far.

I think if you want a another recommendation something light and fluffy not Xianxia misunderstanding angst stuff.

Then Zhou Ye and Tan Jianci's Love me Love my Voice or
The Hope or Derailment would be a good alternative.

I can understand negative opinions, negative ratings and negative criticisms those all are fine but this is one thing I hate to see.

Its been 6 hours yet even after reporting the comment its still up I guess this site really supports derogatory comments towards women.

I do not care who the actor or actress is but no actions being taken towards a user who has repeatedly used sexual slurs is surprising.

I would rather check drama wiki site which is much cleaner than a site that does nothing about such foul actions.

I don't care about free speech but sexually derogatory slurs/any discriminatory slurs shouldnt be something that should be encouraged.

This might also be the most correct assumptions its not that they can't get the copyright but rather due to their personal tiffs they are not doing it.
