true, even the younger version of yeohwa wearing widowed dressing looks much more believable than matchmakers' FL

I see some a lot of people compares this to the matchmakers, but for me this drama wins really far. the plot, the characters, the writings, and the most important thing the acting this drama is far superior compared to matchmakers, I can't stand rowoon and cho yihyun's acting at all

Talk about this to South Korean audience then..

watching 8 episodes and I would say this drama is perfect, I barely able to see any flaws at all

for men they may remarry but for women they are not

I think it's not his fault. Based on his character description, he didn't know that he was going to marry her.

His wedding with her wasn't under his consent. He didn't even know that he was going to be matched with her before he went to Qing

They are really cute but honestly can't ignore how unfair the widows are treated compared to him. As a widower he is so allowed to fall in love with other women while women are restricted to be faithful to their husbands even after their death.

His brother is a good guy, he helps the King a lot since he os the only one who knows the king's motive to break away from being puppet king

This drama is severely lacked promotion internationally. I hope they will put this on widely accessible OTT platform because this is so good. Glad LHN's next drama is on Netflix, I'm waiting for her next drama too because she is amazing

I hope their beloved people find their own happiness. I really wish those evils in this show come down faster

I don't think YH's MIL is bad at all. You can see the other woman's MIL, she is so cruel even wants her DIL to "follow her husband".

honestly it's kinda unfair seeing widowers live isolated while yoon hak is so allowed to fall in love with yeon seon as a widow himself. Joseon is so harsh toward women. Honestly I like yoonhak x yeonseon's pairing but on the other hand seeing him still able to fall in love makes me feel bad of yeo hwa and other widowers who must live with her in-laws

IDK about spoiled but he is the youngest son of the chaebol and they have nothing to worry because they won't inherit the conglomerate but still able to live lavishly

I thought MC's MIL is annoying but honestly the rude widower's MIL is so creepy. She keeps giving her knife and wishing her to "follow her husband" without saying any words..
