Finally I just completed this drama! All I can say its all well-written! 😍I did say I couldn’t find any chemistry between main leads, and here I changed my mind! It might come abit late but xie wei convinced me he’s the perfect match for her, I wouldn’t say he’s a greenflag y’alls looking for, more like a villain love that Atleast I can accept. (He’s acting like a baby when he’s jealous and thats so cute honestly) , he shows aggressive but knowing FL’s tough character, I don’t find it really bad.

I still love zhang zhe, I’m having a very bad secondlead syndrome almost towards the end! I can’t deny they have a great chemistry without having too much scene together! I hope to see them acting in another drama where he’s the mainlead!!

and Yan Li omgg my poor boyy, he’s the first one pursuing her yet she never fall, when he said he will find someone and get married after war is over so he could treat her well and make the FL jealous , that phrases alone make me sad, I hope he will find someone that deserves him 🥹

I view things differently, all the small interactions makes a heart fluttering, they have an absolute chemistry that I can’t get over and its not unrequited crush, both of them liked each other even in the past and future, I haven’t completed this series yet but I could tell they have a thing, they could be together but FL’s guilt towards him esp after his mom’s death is much greater .she blamed everything on herself.

On the other side the ML is very proactive assuring her, there’s someone better fit with her

Hye I’m on episode 20 🤓 its so funny that I’m having second lead’s and third lead’s syndrome but not up for the mainleads romance, like they’re good but honestly I havent find chemistry yet, Idk if I will change my mind!

Believe me, its not about his acting skills , he just need better drama script and skillfull FL to live up the story & chemistry. I dropped BCE & SAHPH too, but you can try his other dramas like falling into ur smile, story at yanxi palace, Arsenal military academy 🤌🏻🤌🏻

And I’d love to see him acting together with shen yue , zhao lusi, zhang jingyi & Dil raba. ✨

Watching this after yanxi palace and I’m just so happy they’re reunited 🥹 It might not be my type of genre but seeing these 2 together is healing

I’m on ep 4 and I’m enjoying this😭!! I guess so many ppl commenting they deleted the whole episodes on Youtube and just yesterday they repost it back but now only up to ep 4☹️, anyone knows where I can binge watch this drama? apart from youtube/netflix that dont have tooooo mucch annoying ads

I’m half ep 19 but I am so reluctant to watch any further 🥲 am I the only one who feel like the identity reveal is a cringe? Or my expectation is veryyy high.. the ML’s confession is too cheesy, I’d rather watch they have conflict than that cheesy confession 😭 I guess I’m too old for that and when her villain sister found out, its kinda rushing isn’t it? How come she conclude that just by thinking with no proper evidence ? Yeah they can say there’s possibility Ailian still alive and FL got burnt covered by lotus so that shows she’s that girl but thats just a rare theory ppl can guess unless they’re able to explain how she able to change the face? Or its very normal to get plastic surgery in that era

She really needs good script & ML that can match with her acting skills, she deserves recognition for her acting!! the double is a hit, it is my best cdrama 2024 so far!! ! And here, Im planning to watch story of yanxi palace since the review is good, I hope to see more on her works esp historical drama with strong&smart FL that really suits her!

And I’m excited for her upcoming dramas too!!

Open ending to be exact, depends on the viewers how they see it, for me not the happiest ending but beautiful so its still worth to watch 10/10 !!

I watched this last year and just happened to check the ratings, I still believe they dont deserve the low ratings, atleast I’m expecting 8.5. Cus their acting and chemistry is so good that makes the story interesting despite having miscommunication

I just finished this drama, I’m not sure why I didn't drop this, probably because I’m so hooked up by main-leads acting, I love their maturity in balancing their work and love , both of the are quite smart and I love how the ML helping her becoming an assistant at her company like thats so lovely !

but the story plot is not giving in. I was hoping bit of dramas from the FL and her ex since his name is mentioned in the description but his character is so unnecessary , the story failed to make me feel angst over the incident. Everyone feel bad over his trauma but when he said he doesn’t want someone he cares (FL) to get hurt is so empty, he doesn’t even show much of cares on her even after he call off the engagement then out of nowhere he develop feelings with the ML’s psycho sister when he was supposed to be guilty?. Not to mention the ML’s sister unreasonably annoying but whatever

SML couples I skip most of their part, honestly I wouldn't mind with the age gaps but atleast cast someone who looks can be a match, the girl looks like in her teen with her cutesy appearance and the man looks quite matured for her( more like a father & daughter or dating with uncle) so I can’t even watch their love story huhu
