I didn't read the novel of Hidden Love nor watched the drama but according to the readers of both the story FIRST FROST is better, but it's more into the angst/ melodramatic side but with Happy Ending! HL has it's own charms tho!

YOUKU not releasing 520 content for THE FIRST FROST is inevitable, it's either too much content gate-keeping, or they haven't produced materials yet, or they really doesn't want to post today.
Like other platforms, iqiyi, tencent etc. there were some dramas finished filming but they also didn't post things about 520. Besides, they are still filming.. YOUKU is not generous with contents like iQiyi, just so you know.

Sang Zhi in the First Frost novel barely got a screentime probably 2-4 times only and Duan Jiaxu I think they only talked about him there.. there might be changes in the drama but let's see.
