The drama is divided into 3 arcs 1.prison arc 2.racing arc 3. revenge arc where each carries different impacts of the story and screenplay .1st arc was the core strengths of the drama with no flaws and 2nd arc was questionable because it was made only for pure entertainment which lead to many mixed opinions because let's say prison arc made all the viewers going in one direction but suddenly they added racing arc which led to break the direction of people or even may be looses the core strengths of the drama which the prison arc created in the place,i would say the racing arc rather than similarities to squid game it had its own charm with epic escape rather than typical prison escape,now comes the final arc which is called revenge arc which was again questionable because they have already revealed the main plot which is the main villan yohan so there's only left is minor sub plots which usually don't impact much on the story, so they should have concentrated more on finishing the revenge to full fledged narration and going full in to the revenge but eventually everything was rushed not completely but to some point,i don't think yohan ever felt the fear of losing against tae jung which was meant to happen that's what the drama is about right ,but if you ignore the writing and character development(only some characters) everything in the drama is on point
