Its not that he is slightly less popular in south korea because the competition is very tough now in south korea. so he has lot of tough competition now even rookie actors are giving hit dramas. Jichangwook never let down his stardom or misuse his stardom he is constantly maintaining his with competing with other big stars .seeing how the new new projects flows to him shows how much impact he has made in Korean industry
