bruh... it's not angst anymore it's verbal and emotional abuse...
me too... i love complex flawed character. if the story actually gives him depth and he own up to his mistakes and we see more character development then he'd be fine for me... for example the sml in our beloved summer despite his arrogant and aloof nature i loved how he was still shown with his vulnerabilities without playing the victim..
it felt refreshing that when xigua offers to pay for something ML just lets her and doesn't play this "I'm a man i should always be the one to pay" narrative. he observes her and gives her autonomy and freedom in their relationship
based on trailer i think sml will find out that ml isn't actually her boyfriend and still pursuing her. i think sml would shoot his chance and would try to pursue her too
now I'm really thinking SML doesn't actually like ziguang, because how the hell is he so nice to other people he barely know but is a total jerk to the girl he like? dude gtfo
xiguang is only nepo baby i will ever accept lol. i loved that moment when she reminds ye rong how wealthy she is. (it's only cute and funny because we know how humble xiguang really is, otherwise it's not cute)
