The outfit she wore while at the restaurant was the same one she was wearing whilst playing the baseball game so that probably she followed him to the place and saw him doing it and wanted to try it asw and then she probably followed him to the school where he runs whilst crying

She was tailing him. Did you not see the scene in the preview where hes eating at the restaurant and shes sitting behind the wall, my guess is that after she lost her memories but he told her that he wanted a divorce instead of letting her find out through someone else. So she probably thinks he has a mistress so she followed him to find out who it was

Tbh idek what theyve been investigating . They seem more like comedic characters so i dont theyll actually find information that the father in law wants. Theyre just their to add abit of comedy to the tense situation the characters are in rn.
