lol calm down everyone has their own opinions. I think the voice is fine but it's subjective. The voice isn't gonna change just because they commented. They're entitled to their opinion

I like dark stories and this one was amazing. I personally think it was realistic. What many people seem to forget is the cultural differences and the thought process of someone whose family had nothing and she was told to be patient and tolerate while moving to a new rural place for the first time. She wasn't a stupid lead, she was very smart, but she as expected begins as submissive. A lot of people claimed that she could've escaped a lot. but could she really have? She wanted to save her mother and father. And then towards the end, her new goal was to destroy the place because of how disgusted she was by it. Don't forget she had been there for a couple of years by then and was used ot it.

If you truly believe that things like that don't happen in real life you should watch some documentaries on real life religious cults, and the people who escaped them.

The last scene of the drama shows yuwen yue dying. In the book he doesn't die. So it all depends on whether they do a second season or not. They'll either save him or leave the drama with the loose end of you assuming that he died. As for yan xun, his character is very complicated. He indirectly becomes bad because he becomes so caught up in avenging his family that he forgets his morals. He still loves Chu qiao though. Good luck when you reach the end. But let's just hope there's another season.
