That's also the issue. We are upset cause they didn't try to explore JQX character well. Imagine, worked for 4 months but JQX written so messed up like that. Fortunately, his performance can bring some dymensy into his character. Also if you notice, even in TBT, him being first billing, did Shen Xifan character well written? Also her screentime is mostly same as He Suye? In OG, can't compare. I know, I understand both Qiaoxi and Yingtao been in different place and they just far away for years. But can't the team production did something about his POV. So we can understand him more. Even people just labeled him as toxic ML, coward and selfish 🤣 They just did nothing to Qiaoxi, didn't care.
