So this game of (like go?) YZH seems to have all started with his obsession with G. QQZ.
(G. QQZ as white and YZH as black? Haha)
Instead of just standing as a witness to the crimes of YP group, he made it complicated with the fear of being persecuted as a demon.
G. QQZ tried his best and strategize to bring down and expose YP group while trying to stop YZH also (we can say he learned everything from LB).
LB and the others were technically the pieces/pawns to the game.
But the game got crazy when LB entered (changing from pawn to 3rd player?). It looked like YZH turned LB to a cat (instead of just giving him blood to save him?) as a form of torture/to spite G. QQZ because he cared for LB (losing focus on the game?).
Another weird thought (not in the manhua i believe)...What if in CS' village, the cats there, some might be similar…
In the manhua/anime, the empress was the reason why LB turns to a cat. I believe it was some sort of experiment.
But not sure how it will be interpreted in the drama.
Definitely the empress/vampire case are connected, due to the sort of similarities of the effects in the bodies.
Gen Qui seems to be playing sides (after the war) to try and protect LB (but failed to do so on LB's dad), i think? But his assistant is questionable.
YZH is seeking answers just like LB but in a twisted way, which is nervewracking to watch as how.it will affect the protagonistshaha
I just hope CS finds his brother (unlike in the manhua/anime) before the show ends and show that he and LB were fated to meet by some form of past/magical connection.
If they wont have a season 2, i hope the ending is happy hehe

The timing of CS getting the letter from bro and LB going back to Shendu is too much of a concidence (or as LB calls it fate)

We can assume, in d drama, she is genuinely not in league with those old farts group.
CJ simply changed to not feel like a prey n worked for that group after his bad experience in Shendu.
Are we going to expect a big/epic fight in the end?
