Even in a genre that is well known for drowning at the shore, this still stands out. It should have been a 9+ drama, everything before the last few episodes was perfection. But for some reason, the screenwriter decided to nuke it from orbit. The worst thing about it was that it came out of nowhere, it was against everything we were told until that point. Even the title seems out of place for that ending. Ridiculous!
I still get angry when I think about it. So many fantastic characters wasted...
Everything about this was perfect. The cast, the production, the screenwriter who has done a marvelous job adapting the original work, the director who got all the comedic timings just right. Just perfection.
I find it mindblowing that they decided to run this during the week, tvN must have lost a load of money over it. I wonder what was the reason behind that?
This drama is a bit hot and cold overall, but the leads have one of the best relationships I've seen everywhere. No misunderstandings or unnecessary drama, just 100% trust and support.
One of those rare stories where the leads are such exceptional people that their unwavering devotion to each other feels very natural. Even at the start when the FL didn't have romantic feelings toward the ML, it was very obvious why she would do anything for him.
It also helps that the leads and the supporting cast are all putting in magnificent performances.
It was very good, but not one of the best as I thought it was going to be when we were halfway through. After the memory loss, I found myself not so invested in their relationship. Basically, every improvement Hae In made through this drama was reset.
I really liked the ending with the old man, and that it was old HW that Hae In saw before her surgery.
Overall a very enjoyable watch, despite its flaws. I can't remember the last time I watched any series in real-time, like I did with this one.
I've enjoyed this episode, despite the atrocious writing. The writing was never this drama's strong point but in the last couple of episodes the plots introduced not only defiled common sense, but none of them led anywhere.
I hope that at least the ending will be decent, the poor Kims must have back problems by now from carrying this so far.
For me the original hae in died the day she lost memories, so it won't be a happy ending to me if they show that…
That's why the memory loss trope is so bad. It took Hae In like 10 episodes to really understand her husband and to finally become aware of his feelings, only to have all that erased with a memory loss. All she's been trough was for nothing.
At the start of ep 15 Hae In googles herself and drops ES. Rest of the episode she gets to know herself, her husband, and her family all over again. ES gets hit by a truck and gets isekaid into the Marry My Husband universe and meets his true love Soo Min.
Episode 16 - Hae In slowly gets her memories back, she and her husband make a baby and live happily ever after.
The thing I am most curious about at this time is how will Eun Seong try to play his situation? What is his end game here? Hae In is a 10-second Google search away from learning about her whole life. Let's not forget that this is a woman who singlehandedly started her husband's village tourism industry just by making an appearance there. Hell, that press conference of hers 100% hit the German press too.
This is a kind reminder that ES is supposed to be some kind of genius running one of the richest hedge funds in the world.
It's one of the things that annoys me in dramas, characters forgive too easily. Nobody is owed forgiveness. Even if they are remorseful.
Very talented actor, he has a great career ahead of him for sure!
All the best!

Secretary Na with her "I am so done with this shit" altitude is absolutely hilarious.

This is what will happen, right? ... Right?!!?
I haven't read the webtoon, but I assume that it was so popular that the author decided to lengthen the story more than he initially intended.
Has there ever been a continuation with the same cast after 10 years?
