You said both fandoms are responsible but you came here and blaming CZY fans? Look at yourself please. I follow his fandom on wb so i know the majority didn't care about this melon in the first place because it's Tencent and Tencent has been using his names many times. Only until some bloggers' posts suggesting billing positions and ZJY fans claiming this is female centric novel so she should be first billing and mocked him for being a pendant to FC drama that CZY fans got upset and are fighting back by listing his recent achievement. We also wanted equal billing but ZJY fans didn't want it so we will fight for first too if that's how her fans wanted. Why her fans can ask for first and when we do it's our fault? there's no smoke without fire. So don't come here and point your fingers at CZY fans for fighting back. Maybe you should tell her fans to shut up before official annoucement then we wouldn't have this argument in the first place. Thank you.

I actually don't mind second billing but only to those who deserve it. If he's 2nd billing to a 99 liner, it will create a pattern and reflect badly to his future resources. It will be hard for him to get 1st billing in future. So it's best that he gets equal billing or else it's just a waste of time because this FL fandom is already acting problematic so they will surely not let him claim the drama's success if he's 2nd to her.

Really speechless how ZJY fans are trying to twist the narrative and blame CZY fans now when you are the ones starting the fight first. i'm sry to tell you Chinese CZY fans never cared about this melon when it first started, but ZJY fans have been asking for the crew to change ML ever since and gave false info about the drama to mislead others to believe it is a female centric drama (novel # drama so it's pointless to bring novel here to prove a point). FL fans wanted her to be the first billing more than anyone else that's why they keep saying it's female centric. They think they can pick and chose ML for their fave when in fact it is decided by the crew and their companies. They were the ones starting the fight and disrespect CZY first. CZY fans just defend him over an unconfirmed melon spread by FL fans.

So what i want to say is, Tencent is worse than his own agency. His agency is just incompetent, but Tencent was using his name maliciously. And no, using his names maliciously is different from really consider him for these roles. All of these rumors happened right after that LOTL fiasco from unreliable melon owners. The One and Steel Forest are 2 big projects (S+) from Tencent, we know they would never really consider him for the roles. Did you see how Tencent boss said he's not good enough for WIK and the producer had to insist on keeping him? Not sure how you are still defending Tencent over this. Are you saying just because his company is useless, everyone can take advantage of him? Victim blaming much?

They are also behind all those bad rumors about him during the LOTL fiasco just because he rejected that script. and that made him get sworn of even more. His agency is always useless but they are the defensive side, i don't think it's wrong to blame the attacking side as well?

It's same as equal first billing. That drama was also female centric and she carried it more than HYT anyway.
She and CZY are actually equal on drama achievements. His highest first billing drama is only 15m (estimated) for DNAD. He has cvb but she has box office. His traffic is obviously better but she has better commercial value (GA/BA for several luxury brands when he's only brand friend of Piaget). So it depends on their companies to negotiate their billing positions and i don't trust his company.

seniority doesn't matter in deciding billing, it's company's power. czy doesn't have that, he was able to equal JJY because her company was also weak

last time it happened, he was second billing to Liqin, so official announcement will be the same if true...

billing isn't just decided by traffic. it's combination of company's connections, traffic, previous 1st billing success (online, box office and TV), your background (graduates from acting uni/academy usually have more advantages than others), business/commercial value etc.
It's currently half-half now with her company being more powerful than his so that's the deciding factor.

Even though ZJY might have lower traffic than JJY, her company and backing in the film industry is very strong, JJY's idol company was nothing compared to ZJY's. So the highest billing CZY can get here is equal or worse, 2nd... he is just a fake iqiyi prince with a useless agency after all.

DNAD's douban scores haven't been released, people can always go and rate it... the douban scores are what determine viewers' interest, like imdb ratings. Actually not only WYB fans, from the first episode, JJY fans already started their 1-star mass rate campaign for DNAD. So we shouldn't expect high scores for DNAD now lol.
