I'm not talking about the entire OST, which builds the atmosphere quite well in places. I'm talking about the lead song. For me, it's boring and slow and makes me want to sleep on it.
I don't know why you are generalizing my statement when it was clearly specific about one particular song, not all music.

Well, I don't like the opening song. For me it's kind of drab, slow, not something I would hum to myself in any situation. Too bad. For me, sci-fi should have a stronger beat. I forgive it, because for the first such big sci-fi production in China the rest is pretty ok. I look forward to the next episodes.

I seriously don't understand your questions. JoL 2 hasn't started shooting yet, this is common knowledge available to anyone who uses the internet, especially from Chinese sources like Weibo. Anyone who has any idea about this drama and actors knows this. A drama that has not yet started shooting in 2023 has no chance of premiering in 2023. First, six months of shooting, then about a year of post-production, and waiting for the license and marketing process. Post-production of a drama of this quality and size is usually a minimum of a year, and they haven't started shooting yet. Ergo, if you're very, very lucky, they'll manage to make the premiere in a year and a half from now, if not, two years from now. This is common sense and the argument is based on how the c-ent works, not on some rumor dewed on the web by a fantasizing 13-year-old :)

The exposure is pathetic or nonexistent. FL can't act, at all. I didn't feel any emotion from her. Dialogues are silly, Drama doesn't hold the atmosphere of either horror or comedy because the scenes are neither scary nor funny, just embarrassing. The fight scenes are so boring that I rewound. The characters did not arouse my interest but rather the impression that I have no desire to spend even a minute longer with them. The music is completely deficient, because when decent rock is flying in the fight scene with the demon, they throw in some idiotic, spoiling the eclimate interludes. The CGIs are as artificial as if they were made by a first-year student on equipment from twenty years ago.... Seriously, even manhwa fans are complaining about this drama. I read a comment where someone wrote that you can watch it for the action alone, without exerting your brain, but the action was so boring that, as I wrote earlier, I rewound. And my brain hurt when I heard the dialogues....
So yes, it is bad.

The trailer promised me a juicy steak, perfectly seasoned, served with dry wine in an elegant restaurant. I got a badly fried burger in a dirty restaurant with rude service. Literally everything is wrong in this drama.

I'm watching The First Responders Season 1 and so far I haven't seen anyone there who looks like ML from Horse Doctor :)

To be fair, their crime cases are severely underdeveloped and are only about educating the viewer and assuring them how wonderful firefighters and policemen are, and this is a big downside that I turn a blind eye to because I like how old-fashioned the characters are. ML is a real guy as seen in dramas more or less until the beginning of the idol era. Cool sense of humor. Cool relationships between the characters. Overall I like it a lot.

I missed a hero like ML. I like the classics :)

I have to disagree with you. I have been observing how the c-ent works for a good five years now, and I was able to compare it to my previous and current observations of film and television productions around the world, for example in the US. If it takes a year to make CGI for a medium-quality Hollywood production lasting less than 2 hours, do you think it will take a month to make CGI for 40 episodes of 40 minutes each? Tencent never once said that the drama was ready, only that it would meet viewers at the " hottest time." They didn't even specify which year. By the way, Tencent promotes as "soon to be seen" dramas that have just started shooting. It's kind of their marketing tactic. As it happens, TLP doesn't yet have a second number, the one that allows official distribution.
I see that you take a very personal and emotional approach to the subject. While I admire your enthusiasm, I suggest you read more than rumors from TW, IG and other platforms before accusing someone of telling untruths. Well, unless you are an official representative of Tencent, in which case I apologize.

Usually the post-production of a big xianxia is 1.5-2 years, depending on the amount and quality of CGI. Therefore, we can still wait and there is no surprise. If we see TLP this winter, it will be fast.

One condition for me to watch this drama - Jeremy's original voice. One condition for me not to watch this drama - no original voice of Jeremy. There are many cool actors, but only he has such a voice!

I didn't read the description or the comments. i don't know what this drama is about or what it is supposed to be about because FL is so depressing and boring and this wedding around a dating app is so unsavory that i stopped watching. I'm under the assumption that a drama has to interest me from the first minutes with anything. It didn't interest me in anything.

Cold-blooded bastard. It's all the same to me whether in something costume or contemporary. A guy so ruthless that audiences will love to hate him. This would be an unpalatable contrast to his positive roles so far.

Drama is drama, life is life. Idiots watch dramas and imitate it in life. Idiots believe that actors playing a couple in love have an affair in real life. But that's not the point. If the scene at the airport entertained you - great, good for you. It didn't entertain me. I know it was supposed to be a comedy but for me there was no funny scene in this drama. There were scenes that were annoying. Do you know what that means? It means that I don't find that kind of humor funny. And since we've established that I'm entitled to my own opinion, why am I made aware that since it's a comedy, I must be amused by every absurdity? When a guy steps in a dog's extremes and jumps on one foot, or farts at a formal party it doesn't amuse me either, and many people die laughing.
PS I used to watch Friends before 2000, because when I started going to high school, they stopped entertaining me. Maybe I'm just too old for that kind of humor or maybe I always was.
This is my last comment on this drama. Thank you for feeling it was appropriate to make me realize that this is just a comedy. In fact, the sense of humor in this drama made me feel like I was watching a tragedy. Farewell to you and the drama. Bye!

I completely agree. I've seen a lot of k-dramas, and I like a few Korean actors, but he has an incredible amount of persuasive power. Other actors play, he becomes the character he plays. This is a very rare talent in the world in general.

Excellent drama. Brilliantly acted. Keeps you in suspense from beginning to end. ML doesn't look very handsome, but I really liked him. ML's personality is definitely what matters in this case.
