He is great for second male lead. he just cant carry the drama. Anle is prime example. WOH is prime example. Other lead carried the drama , he got the credit

That drama sucks. Animation is ok. But it was part of Blood of youth time line. We know BLood of youth is one of greatest chinese drama. Blood river sucks. Bad Male lead

BLOOD OF YOUTH was superior drama . I got goose bumps in every scene. Dashing youth was trash

Blood river is meh. It lacks the punch.

Blood river struggling hard in every episode. i dont have any complaint on any support actors. They did their job excellant

Drama lack ML emotion. his intent. his vibe. his charisma. Do not exist

He is excellant Second Lead though. He already proven it in WOH. He leached off other guy work.

Second Male Lead acting is far far better than MALE LEAD. Male lead is void of CHARISMA

ML is a leech. he need two ml then he looks ok because he does well as decent support actor.

I would fire CASTING director of this drama

I saw him same as anle. i dropped woh in the middle. It got boring for me.
Look wise fine. Most probably follow for looks

But he simply cant act for ML level. he just dont got it

Others in the drama has to carry him.

I am just a critique. I need effort from Male Leads. I need them immerse in that role.

If i dont see it , i tell why .

He was bad there. Same way martial universe ML acted like clown and FL carried the drama single handedly with serious acting.

oh i did not like drama. see i watched it but i thought it was somebody. Never ever thought he was same guy in dashing youth.

After love in the clouds i looked at bio and saw he was in dashing youth.

Completely diff vibe.

That is called acting. Drama fail and succeed based on lots of things.

To predict , you need to analyse Male lead and Female Lead real personal character

They fail to put Male Lead face on poster.

Casting director went by popularity of gong jun after WOH and he was failing since. But got tricked.

People get tricked by YEAR of MONKEY born people. They are one trick pony and live off it rest of life.

You can never say they dont have talent , its just that they are lazy

There will never be Year of monkey born Beggar. Because they are intellectuals and brainy to be a beggar.

They always hang out with rich but never a leader. Leader need responsibility. They dont want that. They only want perks of leader not the work.

Love in the clouds is best drama this year.

i watched Hou Ming Hao in Dashing Youth. he was terrible but it seems directors fault because he looks completely different in Love in the clouds.

i saw Gong Jun first in Anle. he had no role. he just showed up face. That is it.

In Word of honor Zhang Zhe Han carried it but Gong jun got some credit for its success. he is leeching it off.

He can be support actor , he cant take full Male lead role. he just dont have the charisma to carry the role.

Poster face do not have any resemblance to Male lead look in the drama. They deliberately did this because he has boyish face. They changed the tougher and rougher look but completely changed the face in Poster.

Key is INTENT. Male lead has zero intent. he also struggling to act. few scenes he hesitated.

Blood of youth was excellant drama. That means Male lead is terrible in acting.
I blame casting director then.

Every episode of Blood of youth was euphoria and goose bump moment

Here just speed watching. Fight choreography is still good. All other actors were good.

Male lead dont carry the weight for me. Sure its only 5 episodes but you gona get same style rest of the drama.

They got a wrong guy for Male Lead. he is doing a anle.
