I dont think so. If you check the drama , There is only two villain . SRQ and Consort Su. They still have 14 or 16 episodes. They cant find new villain so he will be taking 80% of screen time and annoy the hell out of everyone. I see rating will sky dive after today episode.

Princess knows about SRQ remembering. But SRQ may not aware but he is inclined to think she knows. So basically both knows that other person knows

Not really. You dont want to hear your ML/FL is weak and get connected easily is KDRAMA style plot when they have 100 epsiode drama. That is only way they can have 100 episode.

Actually she is perfect!. Its cut throat business when it comes to nobles and royals. You kill them first or get killed.

So everyone make a move even slight move by opposition.

Emperor is scared of his son replacing him if he support his son.

So Emperor wanted su clan to be his blade to suppress shanqqua

As you can see both of her children are not brought up that well

There is war inside noble families as well.

Emperor want to split them but he is not bright but a coward

Consort su will poison emperor and he probably die.

Not really. This is always about giving trouble to princess and princess will ask his help and he will save her. On one condition , divorce PEI

Whole drama is about to prove only SRQ can save princess royal not that commoner pei.

Noble families should stick together. so SRQ gets 90% of screen time of he is going about achieve that. To prove it he put Princess in many many trouble and he come and save her at last minute.

Basically his focus is on weakening bond between Princess and Pei.

PEI successfully thwarted it at last minute like cops come at end in all bad movies.

What we gona get is 90% of drama is about SRQ plotting stuff one by one behind the scene. They have not shown another main villain so it is only him.

I am ok with consort su because its bottom line emotion in her position. she want her son to be emperor. what is wrong with that.

Not interested in some one plotting especially villain. I am ok with Hero plotting revenge like in double.

Why these directors have no clue on what people want? In real life you cant be smart successful people because of so many factors like society hierarchy , honour , prestige , money and luck

So people watch this drama and place themself as Smart successful fighter , atleast in fantasy

Focus is clearly on SRQ. How SRQ take revenge on the noble families especially shanggua clan.

He may die at end but in his mind he protected princess royal in his own ways.

That is whole jist of this badly directed drama. I think most will drop this drama soon

I am skip watching SRQ scene. Not interested what come of him or his plot. I dont care.

We need to know how they make dramas. Who decide how story is told? is it script writer? Why they hired diminutive people as her soliders. Should have hired Tall strong fighter as her main man.

This drama has very bad casting director. They are just doing job than passionate about story telling. Instead of making princess royal as smart one who knows how to hire her people , what we see her as useless brat who cant even hire right soldiers.

She has to give look of scarriness. Instead those soldiers dont give the vibe of fighters but they picked some street people.

Overall this drama rating gona be 7.7 because i do not see its improving.

I did not say this until now because i wanted to see how they change track but i do not see them to do that. Drama is literally focussed on the VILLAIN STORY LINE.

I find this drama DIRECTOR is a incompetent fool. SML is doing the job but the story telling focussed on Villain Point of view than ML/FL lead point of view. Its Negative Fantasy Drama.

Here title is Princess Royal with no power on her own. She has NO trusted lieutenant. Even Male lead alone. Also she gets conned easily by everyone around her. Why put her name in Title of drama? CLICK BAIT

Drama spend lots of money for set but fail to to hire two actors act like smart helper for leads

They have lots and lots of people as minister and why not put few as helper of FL and ML?

Why focus on villain in all 24 episode?

They need to consummate and it happened after. So that is why that scene was added

I am not fan of xukai. he is not a good actor. He was great in yanxi palance but he really cant be Male lead . I mean he killed 2nd half of legend. First half we were all hyped up and 2nd half was deflated balloon. Same situation in Ancient Love Poetry and many many drama. I skip his scenes. he got everything except acting skill.

But we watch dramas so people emote things and suck us into that fantasy. That never happened with him as male lead. He has to be support and then it will be huge hit

CHENG YI is best fit for Zhao Jin mai.

She needs to be careful in picking because Male actors are sleeze. Like double male lead.

Cant act that well and no charisma . But that said may be its her first drama? i see she thinks for few milli second before she says anything. i see her hesistant. its shanggua girl has some charisma and she looks good when she smiles.
