For me, the scene where TSHH realize she won't be able to recalled her memories with DFYC is the breakthrough she needed.

She realise that she already waste so much time on the fence with DFYC, and she doesn't want to waste more (CYL info about her forgeting DFYC again).

I can now fully understand the slow burn romance in the earlier episodes between TSHH and DFYC.

The level of sacrifice between the two of them for one another are on another level.

Without substancial back story and supporting arch story like LJW and YRS to point them along the way, the sacrifices will be very hard to understand from our view.

Just hoping for a least sad ending for the both of them. They are just starting to be happy, for god sake! Give them some lovey dovey moment. I want to see TSHH smile more.

I think why he needs to be protected is because he is the only one that can master the Xukong Zhilei techinique to transform the formless Heihu (black fox spirits) to solid form and kill them. Those Heihu spirits are trying to travel back in time to the past (before Aolai draw the circle seperating the inner realm and outer realm) to prevent the circle draw. They want to conquer the six realm.

DFYC gave his blood heart to save TSHH love seed. If she believe the suspicion (I guess the part DFYC kill Elder Fox), she might change her heart. TSYY did said if TSHH doesn't love DFYC anymore, he will literally die from withered heart. Shit.. i want a happy ending. Don't kill the cp.. please..

This series is a bit draggy in the beginning. Now I am at EP 20, things are starting to get interesting.

As for Yang Mi character, she is the borish, no nonsense type. And it is what her script character is, she is playing that part excellently. TSHH is the chief of spirit realm. What do you expect her to be a romance-blind, damsel in distress, sucker up to ML type of acting!

Gong Jun character began to glow up as well from EP20 onwards. So far, I am enjoying his acting too.

My verdict so far, ignore those haters. Give this drama a chance. Don't just watch 2 or 3 episode and put it to death penalty. I will keep watching until the end.
