Ha ha ha. True that. Also he is not a snob because it seemed like he had something with his closest male help and he was tuning it with Ryoya too. I think except XZ, he has hit on all the other hot characters that were present in the story ( he never met Ms Jin and MZC😝😝😝).

The last episode was based on an epilogue chapter that the novel “ Accompanying the phoenix”, the original source of this drama, has. It might seem like a chapter on Lady Jin but it kinda addresses a lot of things for our beloved leads- marriage for the leads( not an easy subject because the ML had kinda bound FL to an arranged marriage himself and got her into running away to him lol), his powers and what can be done about it( He is an Asian novel son in law, how could the author leave no leeway for his powers to return and babies ( ML wants to have a whole soccer team of grapes as Epi 38
suggests.)

Furong believes in loving everyone and everything. Lol. He is a good boi though, trying to stand up to his spiritual dad’s expectations( Xing Zhi stole his fiancé and gave him a father figure instead).

Also I would like to thank Lady Jin for being that goalpost friend we all deserve. Her Bi energy knew that XingZhi, that old school chicken ( all pun intended) did not have the guts to get the girl( 🤪), so she healed his girl, got them together together (😏), and her abode is where they discuss marriage and babies also. She loves Shen Li and respects Xing Zhi as a long time buddy to even give a stone which will heal him back to his 100% state( this was such a sweet gesture on her part because Xing Zhi, our green flag Malewife is completely competent in playing the sick scholar but I am sure the drama gave enough hints to show how he and most importantly, his warrior queen might have been hopeful to get him back to his optimal state). Thanks Lady Jin, please be my friend too🥺

Drama musings: One of the reasons I think TLOSL is so addictive lies in its utter respectful behaviour towards its consumers. We, as audience, are mostly given everything people usually crib about in other novel adapted dramas: content loyalty, adult intelligent characters as leads ( and I mean characters and not the actors), no misunderstandings, no stupid love polygon, no plot exploiting deaths( the ones that happened might have hurt some but they are rather expected/ forewarned) and and an ending that gives closure and spares space for imagination.
I am damned because I don’t remember the last drama I have been able to finish and rejoice like this in years and have such a solid OTP like SL and XZ. I don’t think I will be able to move on anytime soon.😭

2. He is a cook and she wants to buy his restaurant for changing that plot into a gated community.
3. He is a detective trying to solve her father’s murder mystery and she uses her forensic science skills to get the case going.

That’s nice to know. From my c drama watching experience, that cave scene and some of the bts videos would had been enough ammunition for crazy level CP mania but good that they are leaving the actors alone. How awkward for them, especially when they have been friends for a while. A little teasing though is fine, delulu is solulu after all🤪

I would still say that whatever shipping is happening, it’s so lowkey and quiet, I am actually moved by it. With that amount of Chemistry that the MLs have , fans usually go ga ga crazy but everyone here is so well behaved and like saying ship sailing things without really saying it. That’s so admirably adorable.😝

P.S ShenLi says in the novel that you are not as satisfyingly fast as before. It could pertain to their travelling plans aka flying through the sky but of course it seemed rather suggestive, lol.
