Why do u feel he can't redeem himself? Let me get this straight, it's not like that is what he does to every girl. He isn't a monster at all. He fell for this girl and someone like him who was so use to getting everything he wants didn't process it well when a girl didn't pay him any attention. He was finding it hard to believe and accept he had fallen for her. In his own way he thought acting like that with her or forcing things would get him what he wanted but he eventually grew up and understood he was wrong. He apologized and more than made-up for it. He can redeem himself
