episode 5 was everything. episode 6 was meh. lowkey tired of the "penultimate episode having conflict for the sake of conflict, and the conflict resolution extending until the final episode" type of BLs (or shows in general)... it makes them look sooo cookie cutter-esque.
its like writers/storyboard artists (and manhwa artists by extension since this IS an adaptation) keep reusing the same damn formula in creating shows/stories that it becomes very predictable. and sad part is people (including me) will still eat it up because it's not like there's anything else better considering the... questionable... catalogue we have of k-bl especially this 2025.
either way, we take what we can get i guess. but in the words of zach campbell, ehhhh "ya tired!"
So true! Here: yo guys i am gay Hessu: the s tream of light coming between us and embrace our souls ...I thikk…
yeah that's what i heard from manhwa readers as well. they added a lot of elements that weren't even in the original material, but instead of enriching the show, they just made it look like more nonsense we had to trudge through. hated those "who's the stalker" + looking for carrot parts. just unnecessary and a waste of time.

and the metaphors don't even come across as smart or palatable, but rather convoluted. they wanted to make being queer appear normalized but it didn't, and now you have a show with a half-baked plot, 2-dimensional characters trying to appear 3D, and they made being queer look like it had negative nuances because why the FAWK did heesu confess in the fucking dark and had to apologize for it (chanyoung mainly, and seungwon to some degree). 😠just stupid as hell.
right, like... many k-bls don't even say that word since BL as a genre is just for the sake of two men finding love, rarely divulging into queer struggles. but when you literally have a bl with a coming-of-age trope as the focus, you'd think they'd at least say it and not just have it be 'implied.' ðŸ˜
i have many bones to pick with HIC2 but i've already ripped that show apart multiple times in its own page's comment section, so i'd just leave it at that.
couldn't stomach that takara show, so thank GAWD iwase yoji's fine ass is in another bl-adjacent show. and from the looks of the trailer, it looks like it'll eat as a comedy.
really good so far. i like it for what it is at face value. great gowns... beautiful gowns. insane facecards.
also, i find it funny that this bl found it easy to say the word "gay" in the show like it was common parlance, but heesu in class 2, that was about self-discovery about one's sexual orientation, avoided saying the word like the plague. absolutely hilarious.
it's not MDL that greatest the pages, it's community. You can make the page too if you like!
yeah i tried to make one for that new bl with natsuki hori, but it was rejected since somebody already sent in a request before me, loool. not complaining since the page is already up though, so at least i won't forget it now that it's added to my plan to watch list.
I loved the original version of this... it was camp the moment it was released and still is now. also... 24 episodes??? i'm not tripping, right? although this is probably gonna be one of those 5-10 mins shows per episode, ugh.
to be fair it’s the company of heart stain, not director. the director of bbt is the same director of jun&jun…
i see, thanks for that! loved why r u tho. just a messy show for no reason (same with the thai version) but camp. jun & jun, never got into. that clip with the main character sitting on the horny ceo's lap that trended on twitter gave me the ick and i never bothered to watch, loool. but yeah, i see what u mean. considering those two are jarringly different material... still holding no expectations 💀
crazy 'cause the last one was literally the one in your pfp back in fucking january. we are so fawking back. now i need ppl to make pages for these shows on this site so i don't forget, dawg...
