Yes! And if they had to include the grape scene, they shouldn't have portrayed it as a s*x scene
The thing is, in the book, Flint realizes her mistake and stop halfway through. Doesn't excuse that she was infact graping Sun, but she doesn't go fully through with it. I wonder if the writers for the show just went forward with it because they didn't want to minimize the impact of Flint even s*xually assaulting Sun in the first place 🤔
There is nothing creepy about it even if they were. They arent biologically related and they didnt grow up seeing…
I know, there was a comment when the trailer got released that kept screaming ''incest'' and I tried to explain to them incest is when theres a biological relation between them, not step or adoptive. They wouldn't listen and seemed to lack any level of education, but in any case...That's the only reason why I made this comment. 😂
MYSTERY SOLVED for everyone who tried to make the series creepy. They arent adoptive sisters and they started dating BEFORE the f-k ahh dad made them step siblings. Yall can stop acting weird about it now 👏👏👏
I get that they're trying to be honest to the source material. I get they're following a similar path as some of the biggest lakorn that were almost all about abusive and toxic relationships. I'll still watch to the end cause I like the 2nd couple, and I'm a fan of Atom, but... this will probably be one of my lowest personally rated GLs on my list. I think it's because those bigger lakorn always displayed these toxic and abusive dynamics but also never crossed into full on R*pe. I think that was past everyone's limit.
Um what the actual fuck was that? This plot isn't even good, and why are we having the main lead rape the other…
they didnt put that in there, its from the book. Its the fact they KEPT this scene from the book instead of taking more creative liberties and just removing it. Maybe just make it a crazy argument or whatever instead 😫
ugh, the end of ep 3, I wish they didnt keep that scene from the book in the show... I really like Atom, but I have lost interest in the main couple (the writers literally did not need to keep this scene...). Now my interest is primarily in Fey and Peach!
I'm not disagreeing with you on how wrong this is, but this isnt incest. Incest needs to be between people who…
Its not incest if theyre not related by blood. By definition, incest can only occur between people of close blood relations. If theyre not biologically related, its not incest.
I'm not disagreeing with you on how wrong this is, but this isnt incest. Incest needs to be between people who are biologically related. But apart from that, this still feels very morally wrong.
sort of~ its like how Pam and Dokrak were in My Marvelous Dream is You (Idol Factory Production), but played by different actresses and their character plot was different. While in US the series (GMMTV production), Pam and Dokrak's story didnt align at all with Idol Factory's story of them.
Does anyone know if the book is better, cause this is kinda painful to watch.
no no, the book is awful. They arent following the story exactly, and so the creative liberties might not flow into the key plot points theyre trying to hit. But that's because in the book, theres practically SA stuff from Flint to Sun. Her character is AWFUL in the book. So I think the show writers are trying to refill those spots with a different plot.
So much forced pulling in the first episode itself lol but hope gets better in the future.
It was much worse in the book, they toned Flint's character down quite a bit, cause from the get go she was so controlling that she was basically Sexually Assaulting Sun sometimes in the first half of the book. Seeing as they didn't even kiss in episode 1 already shows they've taken special care to not follow the book's extremes.
I like how Lin is kinda princely iykwim. She looks good in both business and casual. She's not just smart but clever (there is a difference). She's not trying to destroy anyones careers, she is fully ready and willing to help the staff find jobs. She feels calm and patient, and not cold. 💕
