Tbh it was boring af I pushed myself to finish it 😠There is too many holes in story and it's seriously HARD…
"friendship is so important in this drama and I seriously never felt he likes them or being their friends ..." JJK literally said that he stopped believing in friendship after what Jun Seo did to him... but notice how after they resolved the whole thing he became super friendly with Yunjin and Joo Song... the message of the show is that a friendship that's gone sour due to greed and etc isn't a friendship anymore, it's a connection. and when JJK realized that he doesn't have a connection with YJ and JS, but rather, a friendship, he valued them even more.
the story has some parts that are a bit stupid, especially the oz shit. like how can a secret agency let someone with a pen that has a camera and mic into their meeting room. and is following a child in broad daylight wearing all black the best that they can do to monitor the kids with the psychopath gene? but tbh if you ignore these "mid" parts of the drama, it's really good overall. i found it to be a 10; the acting is crazy good (especially LSG holy), and BR and Yo Han are such tragic characters. i especially love the quote at the end. "A psychopath was given the ability to feel emotions. Did the deity do this to save or punish him?" i love how the answer is both.
i'm glad that no romance happened since the story's writing was based on friendship and how only the audiophile people had a genuine friendship meanwhile the others simply had a connection. brilliant writing, still can't get over this 10/10
well considering how their affair was supposed to be a secret, if you were to guess tae jin's part of the password you would never consider the birthday of jun seo's wife. same with jun seo's part of the password; it's only known by a few people and fortunately one of those few people remembered it.
mistranslation props, sang eui told jae gyeong tae jin's part of the password (jun seo's wife's birthday) and jun seo's part of the password is friendship day
when ep 12 came out i thought that the doctor's motive was boring, lame, and could have been more interesting. i saw plenty of people voice out their disappointments about this motive reveal too. but watching the ending made me realize that it actually makes sense and perfectly fits into the story. Sang Eui became too obsessed with his friendship with jun seo, and WJS's group simply had a connection; not a friendship. it just shows how outside of the Audiophile people, all the bonds from that school were simply connections. 10/10 show! wish that Jae Gyeong got closure with Chang Soo though.
Exactly, can’t relate more. Ji Sung is just unbelievable. He slays every damn role he’s in.Those eyes, his…
all Ji Sung dramas are good tbh, just some better than others, no bad ones. I've seen Doctor John, Devil Judge, Kill Me Heal Me, and Defendant and I enjoyed all of them
just wanted to say that i saw jaejae's interview with the connection cast and found kwon yul hilarious, seems like a chill guy and ji sung couldn't stop talking about his wife even when she's not part of the conversation, so sweet
was really hoping for the doctor to have a deeper motive... yes his trivial reasoning just shows that he's a psycho, but was hoping for something deeper. something more interesting; a "wow" factor. this part of the drama is a bit mid but other than that the other parts have been an easy 10. been really loving this.
- someone in the Chi Hyun, Tae Jin, and Jong Soo group dies and another gets arrested - Jong Soo won't be able to take over the company (perhaps due to the prediction above) - Sang Eui gets arrested - Something bad that Chang Soo did will get revealed, still sus of him. It's still a mystery why he has ties with CEO Yoon. It's a long shot, but maybe he killed Jun Seo? He seems to be part of the whole Lemon Mulberry circle after all. - Joo Song wasn't in episode 12, so maybe he'll do something big/a big reveal will happen soon. It would be crazy if he had Jun Seo's part of the password after all. - Because of the above, Yoon Jin gets to bring her daughter back to KR
