It's clear, episode 4 at 40 mins onward he explains that he saves children like him of the "minority", like the child crossdresser he saved the night before.
The makeup artists were amazing, every person looked so real with their blemishes and imperfections, and when it came to bruises and scars they were spot on.
So i know that they teach writers to fabricate a separation and a reunion in the mediocre writing school (just made that up), but at least give a slightly valid reason, they just don't care anymore, i liked the drama and it's a shame what they did in the end, ruined the whole thing.
Also heard the ending of the novel was worse.
