In my comment, I only referred to examples of changes in the plot between the novel and the series. I admit that the new plotlines introduced make the series more interesting than the novel. I eagerly await further new plotlines in future episodes. Of course, if they exist and how they are presented.
For me, this is good enough. I don't need sensual kisses in my dramas. I find more joy in the overall interactions…
That's enough for me, but I think they'll really step it up with the kiss in the next episodes. I especially enjoy NXG's witty comebacks. I'm eagerly awaiting episode 31.

But the film's script is changed from the novel, e.g. featuring a mountain vacation where NXG's family meets LYS's family. According to the novel, Uncle NXG only meets LSY at a banquet.
