Like who? Who are the many rapist that still get work in SK?
That doesn’t fully answer my question tho. Someone says “ Not to mention the hypocrisy when so many rapists and creeps have no issue finding work in Korea.” But doesn’t even reply or add the “many” that fits their story. Don’t get me wrong im not saying they should get work I just find it fake how people comment things like this with no actually info to prove. You pointed out one guy so who is the “many”.. and if we are talking about in general public it’s hypocritical for anyone from any country to point fingers

I think this could have been decent as a short Black Mirror episode, but the movie was just... boring and mostly…
Mickey 17 is made by a Korean filmmaker and his film okja I think was sci-fi. Seems like many enjoyed alienoid. Back then they had save the green planet. SK doesn’t really care of SF some try

literally in most countries no one would give a shit, popular actors and celebrities do drugs and bully others,…
That’s because bullying isnt important to them in them they support celebs who commit SA and even have a criminal as president and kids shooting schools. Of course they dont care about bullying the don’t even do anything about hazing. College students revealing schools covering up student suic**** recently and no one cares. Do they even keep record of student violence in other countries like SK?… how many countries are actually transparent about their numbers and why do the news cover things up. You only think it wouldn’t be a big deal because that info isn’t exposed to you like SK is. Also the wealthy in SK are no different for other countries as they too cover up and won’t be affected by these types of cases

I love how international commenters always act like their country doesn’t have these issues. There is no where in this world were these topics aren’t current. SK just releases news because they get public attention due to the industry popularity. I guess people saying “SK is on another level” makes then feel better about the issues they ignore in their own countries

They broke up after a long relationship. Lee Hye-ri threw a fit on Instagram after he was spotted with someone…
It’s still he said she said though. Hyeri could have posted that picture at any time but decided to do it then. Whatever her reason that’s where the problem started. People commenting an attacking them on sns also escalated all this . Plus her hoping they would get back makes no sense if she was seeing the dancer while filming her movie victory

Nothing wrong with someone losing or gaining weight for a character. And is it ok for actors but not actresses?……
When a character is written to be a certain visual weight due to a medical/mental reason then would you still think it’s unnecessary or that it makes no difference? If an actress is slim but is being portrayed as over weight then is it still not necessary for the actress/actor to fit? It an actor take a Ma Dong seok role but is slim and not much muscle would it fit? The director of this project met with actual victims the team and actress decided this was what was needed for this role and so she lost weight. Also there is no need to be fixed on the number on the scale she looked fragile and valnurable as they decided and it works for this role. Nothing odd at all. And the actress herself was slim and didn’t need to lose to much. And according to mental health research victims also lose weight. And that takes nothing away from those who gain. Plus downgrading the actress as her getting the role cause she was “willing to starve” is messed up. She can act and not a lot of actress are willing to take these types of roles and therefor it’s not their role.

I always find it weird that actresses have to lose weight to portray x characters. A person with normal weight…
Nothing wrong with someone losing or gaining weight for a character. And is it ok for actors but not actresses?… are victims who become skinny and lose weight, not allowed to be portrayed? This character being skinny doesn’t take away from victims being of all sizes. The direction they decide to go with to make her look vulnerable and fragile. And there’s nothing odd about it. I doubt all dramas with this topic have an actress losing weight.

Person Lim Yoon A
Yoona is the Nanda of Korea. Every leading man opposite her ends up being a successful actor, with amazing opportunities.…
Thats not even true the actors she has work with were already popular and had lots of awards. The only person you can say its Lee chae min. But don't ignore his hard work as he carried the show with his character and his acting.

Junho got popular since 2pm and when he acted with Nam goong min. Also he already won big awards with The red sleeve before yoona.
Lee Jong suk and Jo jung suk we already Grand prize winners before yoona, and Lee jong suk has even more followers.
Hyun bin and the lead cast of all her movie were already big actors.
Ahn bo Hyun already had a hit shows before their movie even came out. All theses actors were already doing really well before.

So don't exaggerate, she didn't make 99% of her cast popular they already were and some still not. Just say you know nothing about the leading male actors
