If you visit on most of the famous K drama page then you will notice there are very less comments like 3K , 4K max 20K . The Untamed released many years ago when probably many people did not even know anything about MDL but if you visit douban then you will notice there were 1.8 Million people who gave ratings on The Untamed. So please don't compare anything with The Untamed. The Untamed will always be no 1 masterpiece forever.

You should also notice the watchers of The Untamed which are more than 104K on MDL ( Only Chinese drama in history)
So The Untamed is The Untamed. No one can beat the chemistry between Wang Yibo and Xiao Zhan.
