The only thing I am unable to understand is what is the original novel like without the transmigrators?
I mean originally - Dan died, Wan was buried along with him, Yong Er and Xiahua Bo ended up together?

Well in western world - yes.. China has different standards. I believe they have to follow standard accents on their television. I am non-chinese but I have noticed this over the years I have watched chinese shows. For me, accent barely make sense as I watch with english subs.. but its important for native speakers.

Yong Er seems to be awakened in the novel.. She is still 2D and not a transmigrator which is why she doesn’t understand some of the things FL says.. Also, she says she is the chosen one and has the script.

FL will stay in the novel and will go few years later. Then they will meet as adults.
His timeline will resume bit FLs timeline will remain paused. They both will coincide when she goes back.
