i usually hate amnesia arcs especially, in the middle of the drama but IM ACTUALLY EXCITED FOR THIS ONE WE GET TO SEE SYS FALL IN LOVE WITH RANRAN JUST LIKE IN HER PAST LIFE

trueeeeeeee. the pacing is actually great since theyre not letting things be dragged for many episodes

im just really satisfied tht su yishui rlly does not give a fawk abt her T-T

the thing is, i think the ML or FL being mentally ill is not the issue of most of the viewers or reviews here. it's how it was written and paced towards the latter part of the drama especially, how it ended. yes, those kind of situations do happen and are pretty common in certain places but was it necessary with how the drama was going? no. Was it abrupt? DEFINITELY. like we couldve accepted it even if the ML did not get better, even if they actually did not end up together. we couldve even accepted the ML being killed off if they actually did a proper build up to that point but no, it literally was out of the blue. the drama was going soooooooo well up until that point.

about the actors tho especially, the FL and ML, they were excellent. Chemistry was really great. I hope they come together again as leads but with better scripts next time

Honestly, 7 is still high with that ending 🥹

like as someone who doesnt have high standards for a drama as long as it's enjoyable with or without turning my brain on while watching, it would be an 8-10 from me but the ending just ruined it all— i was even all about defending how it got such low ratings during the airing of the first 20 episodes 🙉. Im sorry for the rant it's just tht i watched it yesterday night and i just cant move on from it up until now cause it honestly pissed me off 😭

i usually dont get irked by "wtf" endings of dramas but the ending of this one is just- like how did we go from a comfort, making you giggle, kick your feet in the air type of drama to ... this ... The latter episodes felt so forced, it felt like they forced the drama to have a sad ending it's just such an abrupt turn of events like atleast if they rlly wanted to push the angsty ending, do it properly?

I would really accept it if killing off the ML was actually the only right option but the thing is, it was NOT even an option like where did that even come from 😭 it was so unexpected (in a bad way)

Theres just really no build-up, no proper preparation for that ending to make sense
