The writing of episodes 8-10 was awful. I dropped at 5 but I just started back (skipped around tremendously)to see what would happen lol. Wish I didn't cause I wouldn't be disappointed about Don and Pond. Pond was my favorite character. Him bawling just broke my heart.
I also didn't understand how everyone just went on about their days so quickly. Like umm "Who's Don?"

The ex could've passed away instead (wasn't there something said about the army?) so the twin is pretending to be him? Or vice versa.
Like its so confusing. I wanna know more. I hate the "open for interpretation" endings. Cause I have so many ideas and the wildest theories out there. 🤣

I couldn't get into Love's Ambition because of this (I finished it though). The age gap thing is okay to me, on certain series. Depends on the chemistry too. But like the comment above, it just starts looking like an uncle or older brother. Especially towards her cause she's so tiny and baby face. Definitely doesn't look 27 lol.

In Dating in the Kicthen, she was 22 and the ML was 40. They had alright chemistry so I didn't get like a weird vibe or anything. Liu Ning has like a 8 year difference and gosh their chemistry is amazing 😍 Plus he doesn't even look 35. I thought he was 30, max.
I seen she has a new series TBA, I clicked on it so fast to see who was gonna play the ML. I'm like fr, an old guy again 🥲🤣 Maybe this one will be better.

Reviews on MDL are ugh. They complain about the most petty stuff ever. I RARELY go by it. It'll be like a 7 here but it's at least a 9.5 for me. Personally I love it, I've rewatched it multiple times lol.

Chemistry is like one of the #1 thing you NEED in BLs or it sucks. Plus people gotta think, this ain't a Thai BL. Thai BL are usually more dirty and shows ALOT more skin. Sometimes actually naked. To me, Thai can go way overboard with their sex scenes. Ngl I'll skip some of them (like the paint one in Sunset×Vibes). At first it was 😏 But after 5 minutes, its like yall can cut to the next scene. 😭🫣

Same. I rewatch alot of BLs cause I know they have a good ending and just a great BL in general. My comfort series. There have been really good BLs from 2024 and now. It's getting better each year. 2023 was a dry year. 😭
