Why ending seems like so rushed.lots to do within just last few episodes.writer should have brought jing chao in the first half rather than that shitty childhood lover part.he was not doing anything for the plot seriously.

I don't mind even it is a low budget drama."Under the power" is one of my favourite drama i think everyone knows about its cheap production & Poor CGI. Only A+ thing was Lu yi & yuan jin xia.still 1 of my top favourites.I always give chance to artist to the end.They also did hard work .we should give them the chance

For a web drama the first 10 ep can't pull audience.Cz this types of plot is so TV like only middle age who are knowledgeable about C culture would be so invested on it or Who has interest in History.As a Non-Chinese it didn't attract me that much ,i don't have curiosity too .Still as usual i want to see How JYY character progress later. On the other ZYC is too good.i like his expression,he is not stiff thank god. This is my first time watching him.less go

First half done ✅

-1st 10 episodes focused on Character introduction and plot development.as a slow drama lover i didn't feel bore cz i prefer plot development otherwise i can't relate myself to the storytelling or empathize with characters.so it was needed for me.
i m happy that the childhood lover troupe ended within this 10 ep.but bcz i m quite late from spoiler i can see that he exists in later ep too.I personally abhor obsessive character.

From this point its seems ML & FL relationship will look like Enemy to friends to married/lover

She is actually a child in one interview Tan song yun said that "Yuan jin xia is a brat who is mischievous .bcz of her master pampering she become more naughty.Her master doesn't scold her much out of guilt (what happened with her family)
Yuan Jin xia belongs to Department six ,they don't need highly qualified officers here.U can also see that She doesn't know Kung Fu,Lu yi help her climb everytime they need to go higher. She is actually more capable in forensic site.But in ancient time may be there was no specific department like this.

I actually love how Lu yi's calm-cold & Jin xia's mischievous nature matched so well .Sometimes Lu yi also played with her intentionally with hot smirk on his face.& Sometimes Jin xia also protected him with all of her strength. The portrayal of 16 yrs girl who has tasted freedom & slightly Tom boyish i think TSY did justice to that role . When they slowly fell in love with each other from Tom-jerry relationships arc i bet it was quite enjoyable to watch atleast in 2019.
