the battle outside the city was very impressive and quite funny. the way right army managed to manupulate the other two armies was outstanding. Also the scene where wayin walked towards Dan and camera focused on their supports and they were crying while noding was sooooooooooooo beautiful
sometimes not being the top is the best option because being the top is too burdensome ....example langya wang , su changhe langya wang was born with imperial blood , a prince . he had two options. one give up his imperial title and become a commoner , second continue being a prince and carry on imperial duties. he choose second option and now there is no turning back. he did everything to protect beili and tianqi . he is the greatest example of righteousness....but what did he got in return .....emptiness...he has many admires and friends but still alone...he failed to get a normal married life.....he devoted all his life to tianqi's throne , his brother emperor....and in the end he ended his life to protect tianqi's peace.....causing a revolt and becoming the emperor himself was a piece of cake for him - the huge langya army, xueyue city, 4 gurdians and Anhe - everyone was on his side ....but he choose peace and had to die unjustly because of some people's jealousy and selfishness. life of xiao roufeng is probably the 2nd tragic life after ye dingzi

yes but i feel writer had some ideas about the story line of Dark river because in TBOY there are some dialogues by yumo where she says - changhe wanted promised us to take us to light and in one scene wushuang asked her about the man of her heart and she talkes about tang lianyue ..then su muyu tells her - " its all over . you can go and see him now"

BR stands After 3 -4 years after DY and 8 years before BOY so i think in BR timeline Su muyu, Changhe , sikong changfeng they are in 25-30s Langya in early 30s and the emperor mid or late 30s 1st prince is teenager wushuang around 5-6 li hanyi in early 20s , wixin , lei wuji, sikong qianlou is around 8-9 , 3rd prince xiao se around 11-13 I think characters are looking young because they kept the same actors as DY to keep the flow which is nice
