It was perfect until episode 9. Maybe even episode 10. The story was perfect, acting was perfect, chemistry was…
Tbh I wished Mhok had more character development. He went from bad/tough guy with a soft heart to a walking green flag and I loved it. But his development stopped there and his trauma was never addressed by anyone and it was not resolved at all. And in the last episode I really felt irritated watching him say sorry to Day over and over again and Day brushing him off. And after Mhok "left" Day had one convo with his mom and suddenly realized he wanted to get back with Mhok? Ok fine. But he never even apologised to Mhok for breaking up with him twice and blocking him from everywhere. It would have made it somewhat ok if he atleast said sorry and took responsibility but he never did. Its the problem with Day's character, he never takes responsibility and he pities himself the most. His accident was also mainly his own fault but he blamed his brother (I'm glad that was resolved). I also didn't like the plot point that Day had his vision back. It really undid everything this show started with and what we learned throughout. It really seemed forced to me (esp the fact that he got 2 donor surgeries). And made me think if Day's family was not rich and influential would he have got 2 eye surgeries in such short span of time? Him staying blind would have had more impact on the story and the message that they tried to get across
It was perfect until episode 9. Maybe even episode 10. The story was perfect, acting was perfect, chemistry was perfect. Everything felt right. But the last 2 episodes were rushed and it didn't make sense
I'm currently working my through his filmography and I have to say.....Nanon has an amazing sense of story selection! Everyone knows he is a great actor but his story selection deserves praise too. Most of the series he acted in have so much potential. Also...as everyone else is saying...please change his profile pic to something new!
This is such an under-rated series!!!! Its seriously one of the best GMMTV series. All the younger cast and older cast did an amazing job that I almost didn't want it to end. I thought it was ended very realistically and along the way it provided us many life lessons. The only few times I felt a bit uneasy was cause of age gaps....but that was expected because this story is about older people magically getting into their younger selves bodies.
Although all the arcs were good...the one that made me cry was View/Arm's. It is the first time I'm watching a show where P'Arm is an actor (cause we usually see him as a host) and I have to say.....he is an amazing actor! He and View (plus her older version) had good chemistry. All the actors were amazing tho the standout's to me were Nanon (his mannerisms as an older guy trapped in his younger self body were so good! we can see how detailed his acting is cause of stuff like this), Arm and Khaotung. They were so good that in some scenes I almost didn't realize their age gap with their screen partners.
(As I'm working my way through Nanon's filmography I noticed that he has an amazing sense of story selection)
Because they make audience curious for the the last few episode and want people to pay for those episode Or buy…
That makes sense. I thought they'll upload all episodes and then make them "available for members only" after a day or two. I was downloading all the episodes so I can avoid this type of situation 😭
After seeing many bad reviews I thought about just not watching this show but for Nanon I decided to give it a try and I'm glad that I did because I enjoyed it very much. I thought it was going to be horrible but it's not.
With a cast of great performers like Nanon, Namtan, Milk, Sing and Drake you can never be bored. Even if at times the plot doesn't make sense...their acting makes up for it.
Nanon was great in this (as usual) and the glasses suit him so much. I really loved Sing and Drake's comedic moments. Milk's performance was a surprise for me, she did great. At first I thought seeing Nanon/Milk as a couple would be awkward for me (because I had the image of Pran and Ink from Bad Buddy) but when they appeared on screen together I didn't see Ink/Pran...I saw Erng/Mew... they managed to make me root for them pretty early in the show. Nanon/Namtan pair was ok for me though maybe they should have fleshed it out more. In total, I loved this cast and their energy with eachother and the found family vibe they produced
Looks like antis and bitter clowns are already working hard to make up negative reviews. Went as far to even vote 1 star for episodes that didn't even air! No matter what they did/will do...this drama is only going to get bigger and better. Already breaking records everywhere. Eagerly waiting for next episodes! ❤️ Its episodes are also available on YT with subs! Link - https://www.youtube.com/@youkuenglish/videos
Following XZ from his TU era....I have to say his acting has improved so much! Loved almost all of his works so let's see how ZHZ is. Looks super exciting to me :DDD
Xiao Zhan + Thriller + Spy = The project of my dreams ❤️ Was waiting for XZ to pick up something like this and I'm sure he'll be great in this drama. Looking forward to this!
