It's a must, 😁 joke, but anyway, you will not regret if you watch river where the moon rises, it's one of her best drama, her acting there was superb, she even got nominated best actress in Baeksang arts awards, for me, you should watch it before good boy starts, since her character in good boy might be badass as well. Her character in RWTMS was really good, badass, 🔥😍. And her chemistry with Na In Woo was so good too.

People can't enjoy simple romcom with cute and heart fluttering scenes, like classic kdrama vibes, they want those fantasy, thriller etc. It's clearly understandable in the synopsis or tags, what's the drama about, if they don't like it then just skip,but still watch it and leave unnecessary comments. For me, I really love this drama, not only that I am fan of Kim So Hyun but also the flow of the drama, just happy, no stress.

She'll have new drama soon with Park Bo Gum, probably this November, title good boy, it's comical action-packed drama, for sure it'll be a good one, it's written by well known writer and directed by very good director

And for the information, SE is based on webtoon that was written 2011, so it's really like old drama, just simple without interesting plots but so nice and enjoyable to watch. No stress, just butterflies in the stomach

Actually her potential after love alarm didn't went downhill, after that drama, she had river where the moon rises but it was not so popular to international kdrama fans, in that drama she was nominated best actress in Baeksang arts awards which made her one of the youngest nominees in the said awards history, but she suffered a lot in that drama, she had to reshoot all of the scenes with the actor that was involved in bullying controversy, probably the reason why she took simple dramas after almost 2 years of hiatus. There was an interview where she said she almost retired after RWTMS,(it really affected her a lot) but thankfully she didn't do it, instead took 2 simple romcom. And yes hopefully good boy will be okay, and hopefully she'll get the recognition she deserves, she's a great actress, people can't see it because they only watch her two recent popular(internationally)dramas and love alarm. I hope good boy it'll be popular internationally, to prove her versatility in acting.

It's clearly understandable in the tags or synopsis that it's just "simple romcom", if you don't want like this kind of drama, you can skip it and watch other dramas with other plots. For me, I like SE just like classic kdrama, which you can't find these days. I'm enjoying it, just cute and heart flattering scenes without heavy plots.

They are always like that everytime Kim So Hyun has new drama, most of them said they hate her from love alarm, and she's bad actress just because of one drama, didn't even dare search on Google her other dramas where she received awards, she has like 40 dramas and 9 or 10 movies, with different genres, and bash her because of love alarm and her two recent dramas simple romcom, they even didn't know why she took those two simple dramas, she struggled from her drama RWTMS, she even took a long break almost 2 years, that's why she took light and simple dramas after. Can't handle those people who keeps judging her from love alarm (which was not her fault) and her two recent dramas "as they said : simple, bland etc." it's clearly written in the tags or synopsis, if they don't want simple romcom then they shouldn't watch it, and find other dramas with other plots. I hope these "new" kdrama fans will watch her other dramas first before bashing her.

She had to reshoot everything in the drama river where the moon rises with actor Kim Ji Soo, because the said actor had bullying scandal, they had to stop airing the drama, postponed, and had to reshoot the scenes with the said actor with new replacement actor: Na In Woo. She didn't ask for another talent fee for that, to help for the loss of production. It was a lot of heavy work since her role there was queen, assassin and princess. So after that drama she did hiatus for almost 2 years, and then after that she chose the two light dramas Serendipity's embrace and my lovely liar, Serendipity's embrace was actually filmed first before my lovely liar. And now she's busy filming with her new drama good boy with Park Bo Gum probably November or December, it's comedy and action drama. Probably she will also have rest for 8-10 months after good boy. She always takes rest after a heavy drama. She likes to enjoy her life as well the same as non celebrity since she started acting since she was 6 years old. 🥰

She got nominated in Baeksang arts awards in her role in river where the moon rises, where she was considered one of the youngest nominees in the history. So you think she's still bad in acting? And only KBS or MBC awards? Why you say only? There's a lot of other actresses that competed her with that awards and yet she won. At her young age she already proved herself that she's a good actress, well known good in acting especially in Korea. And if she's bad I don't think she'll excel from other actresses at her age or even got a main lead projects if she's that bad. And I don't think directors or writers chose her to play those dual role and triple role if she's bad in acting.
